Honestly, I think it's because most people can't tell them apart unless they grew up with Ducktales, are Disney-fanatics, or actually paid attention.

Half the time I think they should put Chip & Dales names across their heads since a lot of people can't tell them apart either. (Chip has a chocolate chip nose darn it!!!)

Sorry, end rant

HA! "Clean Room!"

I'm surprised they haven't changed the Disney Store outfit
to surgical pants and shirts, complete with mask.

Re: Quick Disney Store Update

I got back from the store a little while ago. I saw all the new merchandise. I got one of the Disney Collection Tiki Kingdom shirts. Here it is.

I like how the mens classic fit sticker is now Mickey shaped, it used to be just an oval. I was not surprised by, but a little disappointed by the fact that with a Tiki Kingdom collection there is nothing about the Tiki Room. Phooey!

Re: Quick Disney Store Update

If you look on the children's clothing, there are very tiny tiki room birds in the pattern. We were all hoping for the same thing on adult clothes since every other year there has been a family set with Hawaiian shirts for men and boys and sun dresses for girls, but we haven't seen anything yet this year.

I still wish I would have bought the shirt from last year with the scene from the "Hawaiian Holiday" short.

Re: Quick Disney Store Update

I just bought the tiki shirt of Grumpy, Dopey, and Doc. I was disappointed that the offering for men's shirts featured much of the same characters as the previous line from Disney's Studio Collection (the one with duos). They need to branch out and do more than just Mickey and his gang, the Seven Dwarfs, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Pirates of the Caribbean. I'd love to see a Mad Hatter/March Hare shirt (I wouldn't mind them in Tiki style, but I'd prefer the artsy style from the previous Studio Collection line). An Aladdin one would rock, too. I'm a huge fan of Disney's Studio Collection (I've bought six shirts and two notebooks from that collection), but they keep ignoring so many characters.

Heck, they keep ignoring some of Mickey's gang as well for the adult line. I've yet to find any Donald individual stuff! lol

The pirates one's actually scare me, kinda. Davy Jones looks cool, but Jack & Will's jaws could cut glass!!
But i do enjoy that there is actually Nightmare stuff in the stores. It's sad when Hottopic, which dones't own NMBC has more stuff than Disney. And I like how it's different from everything else you see with those characters

ME TOO!!! Actually like I said, I think one with a big Cheshire cat and Alice and the Hatter would have been awesome.
And a Dou Hatter/Hare would have been sooo cool!

I do agree with you. The characters that they have been using are generally under represented (with the exception of Pirates), but they could do more.
Heck, I'd even like to see Stitch (he was crazy over-saturated and suddenly dissapeared)

Re: Quick Disney Store Update

I stopped by the PV Disney Store tonight.

And yes, quite a bit more At World's End merchandise,

The plastic glasses and plates, pitchers, do have a
cute design this year!. I picked up a Drink Shaker,
and the 3 small bowl set.

The Tiki Shirts and mugs had some neat designs, too,
but agree, it would be neat to see some other characters.
(as mentioned previously, Aladdin ~ one of my favorite
Disney movies, would be a great choice). IF they would
have had the tiki Bambi or Capt Jack on the mugs, I would
have picked those up. I settled for the Mickey mug and
the Minnie Mug.

OH, and the best thing, they had Adult size island shirt,
(button down Hawaiian style shirt) featuring a beach scene
with Mickey, Goofy and Donald for $20!!!!! I LOVE that shirt!!!!!

Re: Quick Disney Store Update

I'd like to see them go back to the style of the first wave of shirt with the single character and do some new characters. For men's shirts I would like to see characters like Donald Duck, Chernabog, Mickey as in the Sorceror's Apprentice, Scrooge McDuck, Maleficent as the Dragon, and the Horned King. Granted some of those are real long shots (H.K.) but still they would be cool. ALso it would be kind of neat to have some Disney Studios shirts with stuff from the park, like the Haunted Mansion.

Re: Quick Disney Store Update

They need more mens polo's around the $10-$19 range so I have some nice Disney shirts I can wear at work. A red polo shirt with mini incredible embroidered icon for example. Typically when I see these kinds of Disney shirts they range from $45-$50 which I won't pay for a shirt.

They had a Scrooge McDuck t-shirt around a year-year and a half ago. It was light blue and had his face on the front and "Greedy" on the back. I was so excited I bought 2!

My local Disney Store just had some polo's that are now on Clearance. The Donald one is navy blue and was about $20 (I'm wearing it right now actually! ). I also got the Daisy one. They had polos in both men's and womens.

Hey, DWC (or any other Disney Store cast member),

Do you still have the big resin figure of Thumper and is it on clearance?
