Ditto. For a long time I'd only buy myself one or two items a year at The Disney Store, with all my other visits resulting in my buying a princess item for one of my little cousins. Now in the past year or so, I always come out with something for myself, whether it be a shirt, mug, or stationary item.

You can say that again Brother. It's good to see T-Shirts that are not that expensive and I am very happy with the thickness of the shirts as well as the painted designs. You can tell the difference between these shirts and the ones at Walmart just by feeling them.

Re: Quick Disney Store Update

I too got sick of a lack of adult sizes. Very sick of trying to fit into large kids cloths

Aww rats. That's ok though. Keep us informed of what is coming out. I can't wait for the next Disney Studio collection wave.

Re: Quick Disney Store Update

That's like the previous line that came out only for women that had the song lyrics on it. If they were more masculine, such as a T-shirt or even a polo, I would have loved the Zip a Dee Doh Dah one. Have to see what guy shirts are next, after the Tiki ones. The only problem? There are only so many Mickey and Jack T shirts I can buy, and I'm not interested that much in Grumpy or the Big Bad Wolf

I agree. I imagine we will continue to see both characters for awhile. With every wave of shirts the Jack shirts sell out long before any of the others. And how can you avoid a Mickey shirt. Still I would prefer that they look at the first wave again. I mean how often can you buy a Shere Khan shirt. Lets keep the mix with big name characters, but have a few that are rarer.

I agree. I bought the Uncle Scrooge shirt when it came out, and I wish I had a chance to buy a second one, as mine already seems to have gotten some bleach on it or something. It's not too bad and still wearable, but still I wish there were more shirts like that, with Scrooge, etc.

I whole-heartedly agree. The Shere Khan and Captain Hook shirts were the first things I ever bought from the Studio Collection. Heck, I just wore my Shere Khan shirt to a concert the other night. Even though I like both the second and third waves (especially the second with its duos artwork), the first wave was the best. The sketchy artist style was really classy and covered such a varied spectrum of characters. Like I said before, I'd do just about anything legally possible to get a Mad Hatter shirt in that sketchy style. Hopefully the next wave will be a return to form because like others have noted, it's kind of tiring seeing only Mickey, Dwarfs, and Nightmare offered to men over and over again.

I think it's getting to the point where I would be glad to welcome Stitch back than Nightmare again.

Re: Quick Disney Store Update

Oooh! Thanks for the heads-up! I think I'll have to go check it out!

So, are they not doing antenna balls at the Disney Store anymore? They used to always have tons of seasonal ones, but for the past several months it seems like they're trying to just get rid of the generic ones they have without adding anything new.

They still have new ones. I bought a Thumper one there with the spring stuff, and they had Bambi also. For Meet the Robinsons they have Wilbur and Lewis. And I wouldn't be surprised to see the return of the Pirate Mickey one next month and maybe even some movie characters (Devey Jones Antenna Ball anyone?) next month too.

You just have to hit them with some luck. They seem to sell out quickly.

Actually I think you may have missed a wave. The newest wave is the fourth, I believe. I've got at least one shirt from each

1st wave: Single characters/sketch, ex. Shere Khan
2nd wave: Comicbook covers, ex. Tales of Mystery with Night on Bald Mountain
3rd wave: Duos, ex. Mickey and Pete
4th wave: Tiki Kingdom

But I totally agree, the first wave was the best

I think Stitch would be great. However, I doubt nigtmare will go away. Like I said before, when each wave goes on clearance, the one shirt that is never there is the Jack Skellington shirt of the wave. It wouldnt hurt my feelings though if Nightmare skipped a wave.

Interestingly enough, it's the opposite here. There are more Nightmare left than the others. I'm actually hoping for more polo shirts now. The last wave was great; I would have bought the Goofy, but yellow just isn't my color. Went with the Donald instead. I'm hoping for more variety with those. An Uncle Scrooge polo, for example, would be pure bliss.
