Disney Fires HSM Star Vanessa Hudgens - Page 2

Now the story is that Disney has denied the reports that they will replace her.

I think it is only fair. Other wise there would be this huge double standard:

I've heard that Sabrina Bryan, of the Cheetah Girls, did a movie (or maybe it's a TV show, I don't know) called Masters of Horror: The Screwfly Solution, where she played a stripper, and I believe she was nude. So why continue to allow her to participate in Disney and deny it for Vanessa Hudgens.

That is why I think she will continue to be a part of the High School Musical franchise.

Call me a crazy conspiracy theorist, but...maybe she (or Zac) leaked it on purpose? If we believe the tabloids (and let's say, for this story's purposes, we do), she and her boyfriend are dissatisfied with the limits of a Disney career/lifestyle. This incident seems tailor-made to a) release her from whatever contract she might have, and b) lead her straight into edgier, more adult roles.

This is crazy. While Disney hasn't said they fired her, it's probably in their thought process/decision making. Her image can't be ruined at this stage in the game to stay with Disney so hopefully they'll find a way for her to recover or else she might not be around with Disney for long, which is kind of sad. Not much else you can really do about it, but lessons learned I guess?

BTW - I used my Google news about this story and clicked on the "image story" option to see if I could find the photo myself (before their team admitted to the photo.) There is a censored version out there if you are curious.

Vanessa shouldn't be punished, it was photo taken for her boyfriend not for the internet. It is shame when someone personal information get leaked for everybody to see. I feel sorry for her and Zack but I am sure that this might give an edge for more adult roles of outside, of teen musicals. What would happen if say, what I her name from Heroes, the Cheerleader take a picture of herself nude for her boyfriend and it got leaked to the net. Would NBC Universal fire her for that?

If Hayden P. did it 2 weeks ago people would get into trouble for seeing it.

Again we all have done dumb things when we were 18. And if you don't want your kids to see the pictures put parental control on your computer, watch your kid on the net, and talk...

I saw one picture that was censored and... in the movies she looks like she has a chest. In the picture she looked too skinny. I kinda' feel bad for her. I thought Disney was all about embracing your shape!

I never thought about it getting relased on purpose, but it might make sense...then again I've been called a consipricy thoerist before. Bottom line if you're famous and don't want pictures of your naughty bits on the internet, don't take naked pictures.

I don't know... I can see her side. She sent those photos to her boyfriend she didn't think they'd be leaked. She's probably right now humilated and crying along with freaking out. We've all done those things that... seemed smart at the time and 3 days later you're looking in the mirror going "what was I thinking?" It's part of growing up. And you have to remember she's a young girl...

I heard her parts on HSM concert tour were a little PG13 racy. Anyone see that?

I don't feel bad for her. You make these decisions, and when your in the public eye you should know better. What an idiot for blowing it. And she is not even 18? Here she had herself set, and then blows it. What a fool. I don't like her anyways because she thinks she is some sort of self-made celebrity. If it wasn't for HSM, she probably would be another one struggling in the industry.

So she took nudes photos for her boyfriend..It's pretty damn normal thing to do if you're a teen and have a camera. She's a normal teen who believe it or not likes to turn on her guy, which nowdays could indeed be with nudes photos. They weren't pornographic but it was obviously enough for people to get upset. Get over it.
