Seems so simple. The only people this is cause an impact on is overprotective parents and straight males. I saw the pic in its full glory (pun intended) and still wonder what the big deal is. If embattled "High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens decides to move on from Disney, Joe Francis says he'll be there to pick up the pieces! How convenient!
TMZ has learned that Francis, King of the Boob Flash, has offered Hudgens $500,000 to "join the GGW brand and lifestyle." In a press release issued from a Nevada prison, Francis says "Vanessa Hudgens is the classic girl next door gone wild. Being sexual is not a crime." As for the nude pictures now circulating the Internet, Joe doesn't seem to mind. "She took a picture," he says, "it was leaked, and now it is time to move forward with her career." Joe knows best!
Vanessa's rep did not return our call for comment.

Although I could not watch more than 10 minutes of the original HSM before I turned it off, I must say that I appreciate what it has done for the 'fans'. It's massive fan base have been exposed to an art form that few would venture towards at their age - the musical. Apart from Grease, there are few if any 'cool' musicals. HSM has made it okay to like musicals and shows and paved the way for the extremely popular (and deservedly so) movie version of Hairspray.
It may not be to everyone's taste but HSM has spoken to a generation and I welcome the message it carries.

As for the 'firing' of Vennessa Hudgens - what a load of old tosh. She's old enough to make her own decisions now and Disney's reaction has only blown this small pecadilo out of proportion. Any mother who stops their kid from watching HSM because of this photo has clearly got some skewhiff priorities.
