Disgraced High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens pulled out of her appearance on Thursday night's "The Tonight Show" in the wake of her nude photo scandal.
The pretty teenager hit the headlines after confirming she posed for saucy snapshots intended only for the eyes of boyfriend and "HSM" co-star Zac Efron. The camera phone pictures fell into the hands of a third party, who went public with the sexy images, placing them on select websites.
In a statement released last week, the actress said, "I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos. I am thankful for the support of my family and friends."
But she no longer wants to talk about the controversy, and pulled out of her appearance on "The Tonight Show" on Thursday afternoon.
A representative for the late-night chat show said, "Vanessa is no longer appearing on Thursday's 'Tonight Show' due to a scheduling conflict. She will be rescheduling her appearance at a later date."

That's the second talk show she's pulled out of since the photo leak.

I wonder if she will truly reschedule or just cancel all together.

I heard she'll be on the Tyra Banks show next week, but I think that was taped before the controversy happened.

Once again Hudgens' wholesome image created onscreen is put to the test as she was trying to recover from the first nude photo incident that surfaced on the Internet last week.
The first photo that surfaced on the Internet showed the 18-year-old actress smiling as she posed naked and in underwear in a bedroom with a red curtain behind her. The sources of the Internet leaks have yet to be discovered. According to the New York Daily News, one of the recent photos shows Hudgens engaged in girl-on-girl kissing and another has her touching a girlfriend's breast.

I have heard about these pics.

But if they are the pics that have her posing with a blonde friend, they have been online forever, and do not feature her in "compromising positions." It's really just two girls goofing around. Unless these pics are indeed different.

As for that picture of her "leaving church," that doesn't look like church. Plus, none of them looked like they are dressed for church especially with their hats. Not saying she didn't go to church, but I don't think that pic's caption is correct.

Why do people care about this so much?

Honestly, the publics obsession with the personal lives of celebrities is absolutely disgusting.

I'm a young adult...I have plenty of friends who have "compromising" pictures of themselves. I'm fairly sure a large percentage of the population has done something like this in their lives at least once...the difference is that they haven't starred in movies, so hardly anyone cares.

To those who are vicariously living through these individuals who are actual human beings and do the same things we do...seriously, go get a life.

One more thing...if Lindsey Lohan can pose nude for Vogue, why the hell can't Vanessa pose nude for her boyfriend? lol

That's the excuse everyone says.
They were PERSONAL pictures. Celebrites have rights too you know.
If someone happened to leak PERSON pictures that is not her fault. It's not like she is Britney Spears.
Let her take all of the nude pictures she wants, but with people putting this stuff online, obviously trying to smear her reputation as some sort of bad person, people's comments are very biased.

She wasn't caught having sex. She wasn't caught drinking. She wasn't caught taking drugs. Seriously - what is the big deal?

I HAVE NO OBJECTION TO WHAT HAPPENED! My only objection is the effect it has on her fans- KIDS! I couldn't care less whether she takes pictures of herself but it's how this might affect the kids. I'm not bring judgemental, we're all only human I know that!
