    Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

Does anyone know anything about the Toy Story Classics line that Mattel is doing? Apparently Buzz will be available at Comic-Con. This is the first I have heard of this line, and I'm stoked out of my mind because they have done a great job with the He-Man and DC classics (minus availability issues)! The buzz does look pretty, and Entertainment Earth has the 1st wave being:

    Buzz
    Woody
    Hamm
    Bo Peep
    Rocky Gibraltar
    Jingle Joe

Have to save funds for this now!It kind of makes up for not getting Jun's Up series! EDIT: Apparently JUN USA is just restructuring and not bankrupt. Maybe we will be getting more Nightmare and UP afterall!

Didn't a certain someone on the previous page mention that Jun Planning USA wasn't bankrupt and that maybe there was hope for the Up figures?

Mattel's Toy Story line was previewed at Toy Fair a few months back. I'm definitely on board with it though I don't actually believe they'll be out next month!

If you're not able to attend Comic Con, I'm sure the Buzz will be available on Mattycollector.com a few days after the convention. This version will come in the spaceship packaging (like in the movie) and may differ slightly from the retail version in deco.

Haha I'll be at Comic-Con with work as well so if anyone needs anything. And I totally missed your head's up brand...my bad. It's exciting to be getting great Disney figures. I'm still holding out hope for an Incredibles Universe line.

I'll be at Comic Con as well. But only for 2 days (Thursday and Friday). I still have yet to experience the madness that is SDCC Saturday.

Wow, Cali is busy this year. Comic-Con, Botcon and the D23 convention. Why can't we bring something out here to the Midwest??

    Me too
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Just imagine a Disney theme park at its most crowded and that's the San Diego Comic Con. Only it's indoors and so it's extremely, extremely stuffy.

I still can't believe I waited 2 hours in line for toys at last year's convention! I'm not even willing to wait an hour for any ride.

2 hours for toys .... bah, that's nothing! 7-8 hours at Celebration III for the merchandise line. Absolutely ridiculous but I wanted my allotment of talking Vader figures! I got one signed by David Prowse so it was all worth it in the end.

Let us know what you all get!

Lots of it. i remember they had a HUGE space for At World's End when it came out with a scale replica of the Black Pearl taking up alot of room.

you'll find the official Disney previews of future merch than you'll see other vendors selling product and such
