If you do go to the exhibit, you may as well cross the street to have a hot dog at Pink's. And in case you were still looking for Star Wars nesting dolls, Golden Apple Comics next door to the gallery has some in stock.

No, I don't need Chase Darrell Cartrip any longer.

I had Pinks once. I'm down for another go. The line is shorter at Knott's though.

And I'm all good with the nesting dolls. I just wanted the ewoks for my Ewok display. There's so many different types of ewoks and styles that it makes for a fun display.

I'm surprised that Armor He-Man is still available right now. Considering that he wasn't a subscription figure (at least I don't think so), I guess collectors just don't like this version of him?

I wasn't planning on getting it originally, but since I was buying Adora I just threw him in my basket. I guess I shoulda just ordered more Adora instead!

Battle Armor He-Man is just a variant that isn't needed. Collectors have become choosier about how they spend their money since these ARE $20 a pop.

OT but I wanted to say that I saw a show about the best hot dog places in the US and Pink's was on it! I don't eat hot dogs but some of them looked pretty good. The lineups they were filming were a bit insane, however. Must be some good dogs.

Now, more on topic ... does anyone know of an approximate release month for the new EU Star Wars figures? I need to keep an eye out for those.

Also, I hadn't heard of the nesting dolls until Coheteboy posted photos of his Ewoks and I just saw a Grievous set on Ebay. Needless to say, I need to own those sets! They are really neat. Are they for sale in regular big box stores or tend to be in comic shops and the like?

Thanks in advance for the help

I have not heard anything yet. Hasbro was saying in some of their QnAs last month that they should be out in the next couple months. I have not heard of anyone finding them at retail yet. Entertainment Earth says March. BBTS says January. I would just watch some of the big Star Wars toy sites, like Rebelscum and Yakface, for news.

JediMelmac, I'll let you know when that EU wave starts hitting. You must really want Jaina and Jacen?

I think the nesting dolls tend to be in comic and specialty stores but I'm sure you can find online retailers as well.

If you ask me, Pink's is quite overrated. And I say that as someone who lives not too far from it (it's not too far from Disney Soda Fountain, actually). It really isn't worth the "Space Mountain on a busy day" type lines!!!

Now this isn't toys related per se but is the sort of thing only toy collectors (plus comic fans) would think. I was at Six Flags Magic Mountain today and saw that they had a meet and greet Wonder Woman. I didn't really want to meet her so I tried taking her photo from afar and then realized she was way too short and had too much make up on. I guess it would be hard to find a 6'4" woman to play her but this WW wasn't even 5'10" which isn't that hard to find.

Anyhow, don't mind me...I just thought it slightly amusing that those of us who collect the DCUC figures are often complaining about underscaling on the figures and here I am thinking that about a meet and greet character.

My friend in San Diego found Human Alliance Barricade today. I didn't really like the deluxe Barricade mold so I'll consider getting this and then if I do then I'll feel compelled to get HA Bumblebee as well.

I got shipping notice for Adora and Armor He-Man so I should have those either tomorrow or Wednesday.

Thanks for the info! I think Jaina is a really neat character and I'd love to have a figure of her Is anyone else interested in the EU line or mostly just canon characters?

I like the EU figures as well. Even if I'm not familiar with their stories, I'll get them if I like how the figures look. For that upcoming EU wave, I'm looking forward to K'Kruhk the most as I tried very, very unsuccessfully to customize my own a few years back.
