Re: Hallmark 2009 Keepsake Ornaments Dream Book

I just got our mail and got the invitation booklet for the oranment premire weekend. It comes with a $3 coupon (that if you use the weekend of July 11-12 you get another one for the ornament weekend in October).

Much to my surprise (and I'm sure my neighbors from my scream) as I was flipping through the booklet they have another Donald ornament listed as "limited quantity". It's based off of the Donald's better self cartoon. I checked the website and there's also a Belle and Chip precious Moments one and a Winnie the Pooh for anyone interested.

Yeah, my Mom was rather surprised that she got a call in June asking her if she wanted any Christmas ornaments!

What's the cost on being an ornament member? And what are the benifits??

Thanks for the link, FantasticDuck! I guess I'll have to go to the premiere to get the Greedo one but I also really like the Donald Duck one!

I'll have to pop into Hallmark and pick up the ornament book ... I like looking through that more than on the website.

So far the only one on my list is both Belle ones. That is a MUST. Also like the Wizard Of Oz that plays "Over The Rainbow".

I think it's $30? You get two club only ornaments. Plus you can also purchase club-exclusive ones. You also get coupons and discounts. I think you have to renew every year though

Re: Hallmark 2009 Keepsake Ornaments Dream Book

Thanks for sharing this information. There's a lot of nice new ornaments, but I'm really liking that Mickey's Christmas Carol ornament. Since I was younger, we had a Goofy as Jacob Marley ornament. It's a blue clear plastic. It looks like this one is first in a series, too! I didn't notice a month for release like some of the other ornaments so should I assume that they'll be selling it at Hallmark stores soon?

ETA: I did a quick completed auctions search on eBay, and I found out the Goofy as Jacob Marley ornament was from Avon.

I'm looking in the Oranment Dreambook I picked up yesterday (what a nerd am I? I brought it to work with me!) and it doesn't have a release date on it so I would guess it comes out in July? There are quite a few in the book that have "available in October" listed under them.

I'm excited about this one too! I really hope they do the Scrooge and cousin Fred as well as the Goofy.

Scrooge is next years ornament according to a report I read on a website. They saw several of next year's ornaments. So I guess we will see.

Okay---I admit, I am getting the ruby slippers for my friend in London. He is a total Wizard of Oz freak. Other than that...nothing else yet. YET.
