Re: Toy Story Collection by Thinkway Toys

    CB, a couple of things...

    1. It was a pleasure getting to meet and talk with you for a bit at GR

    2. The Hamm you showed me was awesome, but looked a little big by itself.
However, seeing it now with all of the rest of the toys, it looks to be the perfect size. I've gotta get my hand on one of those

    3. That Mr. Potato Head with separated eyes and shorter legs... is that fan made? Or is that an alternate version? I like the way that looks way more. The legs are what bug me the most on the current model.

EDIT: Oh also, Lotso is already available for purchase on Target.com and Amazon.com (sold through Target).

    You as well!

thanks for the links though the $12 shipping from Target is going to cause me to take pause. (although if i spent 2 more cents shipping would be free)

The shorter leg, separated eye Potato Head I showed was indeed fan made. Someone cut the legs and reattached them, and also separated the eyes, though it looks like a really well done job as it doesn't look like it has a big cut down the middle.

The picture on Target of Potato Head IS interesting isn't it? It may be an older production sample. Who knows why they thought adding legs was a good idea.

Yeah I see that. I'm in no real rush to get Lotso, but I definitely will be buying him I think. Bullseye was my next choice in what I wanted to buy, but since there's no info on when he'll be released, I might go with Buzz or Lotso.

Also, I found out that I have a Disney Store about 30 min from my house. My girlfriend and I are planning on making a trip over there and hopefully I can grab a Hamm piggy bank

The eyes sort of gave it away. You can sort of tell something is off... like they used clay or something. And for some reason the pupils don't look as round as they do on the actual toy.

Compare that to the actual toy:

I'll get that pack eventually as I had a complete character collection of the Mattel Buddy Packs from the previous series covering TS and TS2 and might as well do the same for TS3.

I would think Peas in a Pod would be a logical choice for a plush toy from Disney Store so we'll see about that.

We were really suprised that the Disney Store hasn't had the peas yet...We love our TS3 PVC's though. They are really to the charectars likeness and you get a bunch of the new guys. Those Buddy PAcks have some cute guys but are not to their likeness.

Over in the Tokyo Disneyland area, Lurkyloo has the GREATEST trip report ever. She even posted a picture of the Thinkway Rex JAPAN style. We don't get the outer brown crate box! How cool is that???

Preordered my Thinkway Jessie through Disneystore.com...used the Mothers Day discount code and figured it would be about the same cost as in store, and with a guarantee I would get one.

    Got my shipping notification today.

I just realized I have a stack of Power Rangers to take back to Target. As a completist, I buy all Disney 3 3/4" figures, and wasn't a huge fan, but had them put away. Saban bought the Rangers back today so back go the toys, and Lotso is on Target.com so I should be ordering him tonight!

You are pretty much on it if you watch the threads here. He is a real nice size and he has a voice chip. He sounds just like he does in the movie.
