    Re: Pook-A-Looz

Pook-a-Looz are on sale 2 for $20 at Disneystore, and this was posted yesterday on the Disneyparks blog:

Tween Crazes Hit Walt Disney World Disney Parks Blog

The Yen Sid one looks nice, and the post mentions a Yeti Pook-a-Looz, too. I hope it's the Matterhorn abominable snowman, Harold, but an Expedition Everest might look nice, too. A Figment plush is also mentioned, so it seems like they're going to focus more on park characters. I'd like to see a dynamite goat one!

More choices on Disneystore.com, Animal, Gonzo, Fozzie, Santa Jack, Oogie Boogie, Steamboat Willie, Steamboat Minnie, and the ones already seen in the parks are now up. Still 2 for $20. Almost bought Fozzie, but thought I would wait until this weekend at DL, since shipping and taxes would make it just as much in park as out of park; if he's not in the park, I'll buy him then, but trying the cheaper option first.

I want that Apprentice Mickey! Soooo cute!
I was in a Disneystore yesterday and bought Snow White and Tigger. Adorable~
They really are too cute for their own good(and the good of my wallet).

"Are you saying I'm a liar?"
"I'm saying you're an optimist. Same thing basically."

I have six of these cuties already! Dumbo, Steamboat Willie and Minnie, Tigger, Snow White, and Pinocchio. I just literally arm flailed at that picture of Apprentice Mickey Mouse, and reading about Harold/EE Yeti (?) becoming dolls. Something tells me that Figment might be staying in WDW, which is a shame.

    Re: Pook-A-Looz

I gotta say, I was never really on board with the whole Pook-a-Looz thing. When I saw them at D23 I was confused and they felt more like a Disney knock off to me.
When we got them into the Disney Store it was even harder for me to try to sell the little buggers (seriously, Woody & Buzz look like they both need a big bottle of Visine) But when the second wave showed up I got a little more hooked. Mind you that two of the properties represented are two of my favorites (Nightmare Before Christmas & Muppets) and that's why I have a Pook-a-loo Sally & Kermit.
I think they look better when they look more like the characters: none of the big eyes or no mouth or weird dimensions) Like Sally, for instance, is suppose to be a doll so she looks good in this format. Kermit has a big smile and looks like Kermit.
IDK, there's more coming soon. All I know of so far is Geppetto who looks like he has a big white pacman ghost on his face :P

    Re: Pook-A-Looz

I think only for this weekend, but they are 5.99 each at the Disney Store.

Wound up getting Chip and Dale. Wasn't going spend 2 for 20, but 6 each was ok by me.

    Re: Pook-A-Looz

A few new ones coming out soon. Some are Walmart (!) exclusives.

The Figment is a must have for me. We saw the Santa Mickey and Minnie in WDW, and almost caved for the Mickey, but held off. This Figment though...
