    WDCC appearing in Marshall's

From another thread on here, word came out that WDCC are being sold in Marshall's. NNL and I spent our day today driving to quite a few, and overall were less than impressed.

We did manage to get 2 Small World sets (Girl with goose and Eskimo), but the one I was really looking for (Ludwig von Drake) was nowhere to be seen, and the Peter Pan set (Smee, Tiger Lily, Hook, and Croc), was still too much (for now) at 160.

I guess it's hit or miss, but a lot of what was left were lesser known characters, or minor characters missing the major ones (Sheriff of Nottingham, a few Nemo characters, Bennie the Cab, etc.)

Take the info for what it's worth.

P.S. TJ Maxx should have some as well
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

TJ MAxx does have some. I found a bunch at one today near where I live. Amongst the characters I saw were Chef Louis, Bloat, Dot, Gil, Jacques, THe Dutch Girl and Goose from IASW, Ranger Woodlore, Humphrey the bear, Donald and Goofy in their Mickey and the Beanstock attire, Snow White and the Prince, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Roger Rabbit, Tarzan and Sabor, Rajah, Esmerelda, Clopin, Quasimodo, Sneezy, Hiawatha, Shanti, The Ugly Duckling, and probably a few I have forgot. I am ogoing to check another soon. They seemed to be about 60% off. So a great price, but none were ones I had to have.

    How much were they?

I'd love to eventually get all of the Small World ones.

If I remember right she was $15. They seemed to be about 50% to 60% off the regular price. I can't remember the exact prices. I am hitting some more stores tomorrow and will report my findings.

Also one I forgot to mention was of Bullseye and Jessie.

Saw about 10 at our local TJ Maxx last week, including the Ludwig von Drake one you were looking for.....good luck!

Went to a few TJ Maxx's today. Picked up the Irish boy and the African hippo at $15 and $17 respectively.

Very few left around here...no more than about 5-7 in each store.

    Re: WDCC appearing in Marshall's

I went to the Marshalls store here in St. Louis and there were not ANY Disney items at all. The people working there had no clue what I was talking about. So I guess the mid-west didn't get in on this deal. What a shame because I REALLY have been wanting those Small World figurines.

I went to a Marshall's and a TJMaxx today. I saw Ludwig, a bronze colored Mulan, Pete, and a Spanish IASW doll. This does not include ones I had already seen.
