My MSEP #3 arrived today in great shape! Kudos to Disney for their online ordering opportunities.
Mine arrived today too! Color me surprised, given I think shipping began yesterday. For it to get here so quickly was a pleasant surprise.
So, what do I think, now that I've finally got the piece?
Pros: It looks amazing lit up and the little details like the smile of the centipede and the face of the clock tower showing up in the lights is a nice touch. Plus, with the light off, I love the color and detail on the pieces, especially on Smee and Cinderella in her coach. All the pieces just look terrific, lit or unlit.
Cons: I gotta admit, I'm glad we're done with Alice units. I'm sorry, but we've had either a snail or a bug in every release now and it does get a bit old. Then again, it reflects the reality of the parade.
Also disappointed you can't really see Smee or Cindy well with the lights on. Again, that's also somewhat true of the parade, but it's still a bit disappointing.
All and all, another thumbs up from me and I can't wait for wave 4! Really hoping to get Pan's pirate ship and the Dumbo units before we're done in addition to Snow White, Pinocchio and To Honor America.
Unless plans have changed, set 4 is going to be Dumbo and the Blue Fairy (Pinocchio). I don't know if he'll be creating the Pirate Ship as it would be difficult to make in such small scale. Would be nice, though. We'll find out in a year. Tiki God
Sounds like the Snow White mine train is not getting done either. Kind of surprising to me really given I never thought the Peter Pan unit was that small. We've seen Bob do some pretty amazing detail with small stuff before.Quote:
