That's definitely what I'm looking at Brand. The hero pack is exactly what I'm looking at.

Forget hasbro. Give TRON to Mcfarlane Toys. They're figures are superb. Especially the Halo Reach and Metal Gear Solid lines. They would have done an amazing job with the figures and vehicles. Even though I believe they would be a bit more expensive.

McFarlane's Prince of Persia figures were not great though.

McFarlane eh? Great sculpts but not so great QC at times. The plastic seems too brittle on some of their products and I've had limbs break off.

McFarlane is capable of doing good things, but not at the scale we're talking. Their Prince of Persia figures were horrid.

I collect McFarlane's Halo figures too, and I would rather the Tron license go elsewhere. I do think Mcfarlane does some really good stuff. However, They screw up a lot too. For example, the recent Halo Reach Marine 2 pack. Neither figure could turn its arms.

Re: The Recent Toy Acquisition(s) Thread II

With the 25% off sale at Toys R Us, plus the 20% coupon for all Tron toys for Rewards members, NNL and I bought the 3 pack of die cast ships (heroes), the recognizer die cast, and the Sam Flynn deluxe figure. With the discount they were almost 50% off, so we're not complaining.

NNL also bought me a new buddy pack for Toy Story: Woody and Chuckles!

No, it's just a repaint of the $22 Star Speeder that they've been selling for years.
