Re: The Recent Toy Acquisition(s) Thread II

Ever since I was small I had a fascination with police cars. Maybe it was Transformers Prowl. Maybe it was something else. Truth is, you could never get a good car chase going without a police car and Hot Wheels or Matchbox never seemed to get one right. And then I stumbled upon these at Wal-Mart...

They're $3.97 each but I thought they were really cool! And they have opening doors and trunks.

I thought they'd make good companion cars for the several Hot Wheels I have but sadly, they're just a tad too big. Or maybe Hot wheels is a tad too small. I wen ahead and opened a few other Hot Wheels cars I had lying around...

    A-Team Van

    DeLorean Time Machine

    Ecto-1

    Wiener Mobile

I have the Knight Rider KITT on the way and the 1989 Batmobile carded still. I'll get to that eventually.

The first one is Jim Lee the artist. The 2nd one is Jim Lee the artist and Scott Williams the colorist. The third one is Steve Sansweet, former head of fan relations at Lucasfilm and author of several Star Wars memorabilia books.

I got these cool magnetic clips to put action figures on the fridge!!

    I love them!

    Works the best for Spider-Man!

William "Refrigerator" Perry will protect my frozen food!

Good times. This isn't what it looks like anymore. I'm still deciding who's going to make the Hall of Fridge Fame. Wolverine, Spider-Man, Admiral Ackbar, and The Fridge have made it so far.

One of those sampler packs is only $7 (i got two of them). Get yours at www.blazondisplays.com

    Back again!

Here's some new Star Tours Collector Packs I got. Looks like Hasbro is no longer the company making these. And they've gone up in price meaning Disney is making more profit than ever before.

They're also larger than the previous ones

Sometimes good things happen to those who wait!

This was a gift from a friend who got it but his wife said "no way".

And the latest Masters of the Universe figure

I just got myself today a McFarlane's Matt Kemp Baseball figure and I was having a tuff time trying to figure out how to pose him when I had him up it didn't look right as you can see from this pic.

So I when on to McFarlane's website to see how he is sopost to be and well when I saw the pics I knowest that the base on mine is wrong if you look at the photo from McFarlane you can see that the base is on the wrong side.

So looks like I got a goof.

To me Ratchet seem to small I have seen him but I think he is the wrong size. I think he should of been a little bigger like his G1 form was or how his size from the last movie is but to me this one is to small. I was going to get him but not now. I will try to get Wheeljack next.

I don't post often here, but here are some recent purchases.

I have been after episode 1 Sio Bibble for a long time.

Then we have one that few people have at this point, Kithaba.

I also got Dr. Evanzen, but he will have to wait as I did not open him yet.

Finally a Halo 3 Guilty Spark and Sentinel.
