I was hoping this Lego set might be able to float.

Alas no so I had to settle for a shot of Aquaman in his element.

Re: The Recent Toy Acquisition(s) Thread II

My latest acquisitions are all G.I.Joe based. With Retaliation wave 2 coming out finally, with wave 3 as well... and KRE-O, and Joe Con 2013 exclusives pre-ordered... eeash.

With that said, there were a few 2012 Joe Con exclusives that just completely flew right by without me even knowing about it. There was a 3pack of Annihilators for $68. If you think that's a lot of money for three figures, you'd be right! But... it's not as bad as paying $68 for ONE.. which is what I had to do on ebay to get one.

No, it's not an exact recreation but it's close. It's actually a repaint of Lampreys.

Then there are the KREONS. As of this posting, I have a ton more but haven't taken pictures of them all, so here are the first of them. There are 12 total in the first series and I'm only missing Crimson Guard and Axe Ninja (Dice). And these are all Toys'R'Us exclusive!

    Cobra Trooper

Next thing I opened was Checkpoint Alpha set ($9.99) just to get Firefly.

    Law & Order

of Retaliation figures I got new Roadblock, new Snake Eyes, Flint, Firefly. Still need Joe Colton and Lady Jaye. Not opening any of these until I see the movie!

Thx. Quick Kick is about the only one that I would like. Now to figure out his number to get him without trying to get someone I don't want to get.

I found a complete list of Joe Kreo codes. I can post if you guys are interested.

Have not seen the individual figs yet but I did get Checkpoint Alpha.

Coheteboy, if you get extra Joe Kreo figs you don't want, I don't mind an even swap for the Lego mech guy I have for you.

The only two I'm missing right now are Crimson Guard and Axe Ninja. But if I see any extras I'll pick them up and offer them up.

Re: The Recent Toy Acquisition(s) Thread II

Kre-o minifigs whether Transformers or GI Joe, have been so difficult to find! Here's the Superion and Devastator combiner sets.

    The completed Superion

Superion turned out much better than I expected. I haven't built Devastator yet but I think I'll be picking up Bruticus and Predaking as well.

I also found and bought GI Joe Retaliation Lady Jaye, Alley Viper.

Plenty of those Kreo Joes up here. Picked up several for CB the other day. Also the regular Joes seem fairly easy too as I have spotted several Coltons and Lady Jayes.
