Capt Hook, the mail away is a reproduction of the Kenner Boba Fett but with rocket firing action like it was supposed to have 30 years ago.

Their mail was kept in a big crate and then delivered when they returned. I have a feeling that due to less handling and transportation, my fett suffered fewer damages.

I mailed away for 2 more... we'll see which one of those I get to open.
That's a plausible theory. Depending on which mail carrier is on that day, sometimes they'll leave the boxes at my doorstep. Other times, they'll try to cram it into my mailbox.

CaptHook maybe these two pictures will help:

    In store modern release:

    Vintage mail-away

Also new for me is the Jedi Training Academy set at Disneyland. It's been there a long while and I thought it was stupid buuuut... it's Hasbro and I can fill out my younglings massacre scene.

I liked that Jedi Training set and thought it was a better value than Star Tours Boarding Party (no POTF2 repacks). Then again, I used the birthday fun card on the JTA set last year so I didn't actually pay for it.

More toys.. Egon Spengler (nonslimed) from Matty Collector. Meh. Nothing really different, only that he comes with the PKE meter and a stack of books. Not very exciting.

    Slimed or unslimed?

Still remaining to be unslimed is Peter Venkman.

You should have bought more for trade fodder! Lots of collectors will trade you for those sets and you might have been able to get the MU figures that you're missing.

I just traded one Star Tours set and one Orko/Prince Adam from SDCC and got MOTUC Evil Lyn, DCUC Joker, Clone Wars Thi-Sen and Justice League Cyborg/Plastic Man in return.

Thanks to your headsup, I went to Sideshow and ordered it. I gained a $50 giftcard from the Sideshow party in July so after tax and shipping, I only ended up paying $22 which is fine by me. i still have a $75 card remaining from comic-con that i may use on Emperor Palpatine's throne.

Awesome, you got Kitty, Capt. Hook.

If your TRU gets that cube display, you should be able to get Colossus from there.

And...I still can't believe how hard it has been to find Archangel.

Who is Mautey Man? Sounds like a scurvy pirate ARRRR!!

At Target today I picked up COLOSSUS. Yah.. i don't collect this line but I have a few figures here and there (sabretooth, wolverine, spider-man, hulk) and I dunno... I have a special place for the X-Men, especially the ones that graced Jim Lee's covers.
