    Disneyland Minatures - Olszewski

I was wondering how many people actually collect those Olszweski Disneyland minatures?

Does anyone understand how its going to work? I read that both the Aladdins Oasis and the Tahitian Terrace would both be in the collection, a wierd combination.

I know they do character packs. What would be your ultimate character pack (5 pack) for all costumed characters at disneyland excluding the already made fab 5 pack.

They look awesome but at some point if they make them all you would need quite the spread to set them all out.

I did buy the N scale train set that they sometimes use when displaying the pieces.

I have every piece released so far except the Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion. It's a debillitating hobby financially, but once you start you can't stop.

    Re: Disneyland Minatures

I'm like SpectroMan. I too have all the releases for Main Street. I don't yet have the Haunted Mansion or the Mark Twain.

I am not big on figures and such but these buildings are beautiful. The only thing that is saving me financially is that they are spaced a little bit - about 3 releases a year.

The base will be released next year so that I can take all the individual structures and creat my own Main Street. Don't know where I will put it though as it is quite big (about 6 feet long!)

    Re: Disneyland Minatures

I was on my yearly trip to the park over the July 4th weekend and folded like a house of cards after a lengthy conversation with a World of Disney clerk, who was just OBSESSED with the things. Well, his obsession was infectious, as he showed me all the insane details and awesome lighting effects of the minatures. I was still on the fence when he mentioned that there are future plans for an itty-bitty Main Street Electrical Parade.

I had the Jungle Cruise and the Hub riding shotgun on my way back to Phoenix. The instant I can get the Haunted Mansion (it was out of stock) it'll also have a home on my shelf. I'm just... so... weak...

Don't have any as of yet, I'm a poor college student. But one day...*sigh* Not sure which one I would get, though. Probably Pirates of the Caribbean.

This is NOT the kind of thing I need to start collecting when the airlines are issuing paycuts. They are so cool though! I'd love to collect all of these.
Warning: Portions of this attraction are intense and may not be appropriate for younger children.

    Re: Disneyland Minatures

I hurts the wallet, that's for sure. I'm not going to get them all (mostly just the rides) but so far I have:
    Haunted Mansion
    Jungle Cruise
    Mark Twain
    Fire Station
    Sleeping Beauty Castle
    Central Plaza (hub)
    Mad Tea Party

    Still need:
    Town Square (out of stock)
    Astro Orbiter
    Train Station.

    Re: Disneyland Minatures

Living in Denmark (shipping these babies are pricey) and not having a huge room for all of them put some limitations on me. But so far I have collected the Hub, the castle and the jungle cruise. I also have the fab five. I hope to get my dirty paws on the haunted Mansion next january when we visit Disneyland. I sure would love them all.
You say Im a bitch like its a bad thing.

    London BABY!!
