Re: Show off your Disney Collection!

    Well, since you asked...

Most of these have been on MiceChat before. Nothing is in order and my apologies to those who are getting tired of the sub props...

I just kinda let my photobucket account throw-up on MiceChat!!

By far one of two spectacular collections that I have seen on MC, Charlie.
1st Amendment-Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

    Charlie,

This little baby was a gift from the Disneyland Hotel for purchasing a 50th Anniversary package online.
We made our reservations in May of 2004 for the big 50th weekend in July 2005. We stayed from Thursday July 13th thru Monday July 18th... (as Darkbeer would say,"The actual 50th anniversary of Disneyland" Haha!

That was one of the most magical trips I have ever had to Disneyland. The "50 Years Of Magical Memories" event was more than I could have ever hoped for, and we saw Fantasmic from the Disney Gallery balcony on the eve of the 50th itself. Along with special 50th tour they were doing, and breakfast in NOS on the morning of the 50th, it was an absolutely unforgetable experience. Worth every ducket...

Re: Show off your Disney Collection!

Ok while my collection certainly isn't as impressive as charlie's or skywaygirl, here's just a sampling. So much of it is in the closet that I haven't gotten around to pulling them out again. (this includes a lot of plush but i'll get to them eventually).

Here's a Treasure Planet litho I got from comic-con a few years back. I actually have a Ron Clements autograph I need to insert in there as well.

A friend got me this from the Star Wars weekend event in Florida:

This is a tin sign I have at work. I just love this movie!

Star Tours mural from the gallery:

    Star Speeder 3000:

Shag lithos that I still need to frame:

Herman's Shermans poster (i also have the wet nurse somewhere)

The only mini attraction poster I have so far:

I have so much more art put away that it makes me sad.

Here's some of the Disney toys I collect

These are TOMY figures from Japan. Highly addictive to collect and far better than any disney toy we get in the states!

    Some pins:

    Some Vinyl dolls from Japan:

    Nightmare Before Christmas, CARS, Muppets

    Some of my collection:

Main Street Electrical Parade Walt Disney Classics Collection

Half of my Muppets, and my Lost Figures

My other Muppets, my Happy Meal Toys (most, but not all) and, because they were next to it, my Star Trek figures.

Some random figures, including the die cast attraction vehicles on the bottom shelf.

Some random sculptures, including the Dreamfinder and Figment Classics Collection, and the replica of the central hub sculpture of Brer Rabbit. Both given to me by the lovely BPF.

Some final random items, including my Jack action figures, Kermit, and on the top of the shelf is a Muppet action figure that I had to keep in the package, since my name appears on the back as a Special Thanks. Truly one of the prizes in my collection. And the Kermit Master Replica is actually BPF's, which I gave to her for Christmas. However, trying to figure out how to ship it was a problem, so for now it is living with me.

My best friend bought bucket #43 blue. He's got it hanging in his condo which THANKFULLY has 14ft ceilings! He bought it a few years back off the internet. I don't think it was mousesurplus, is there such a thing as DisneyAuctions? It rings a bell.

Disneyauctions was the Disney run auction site, in partnership with ebay i beleive. They, when it first started, had a few attraction vehicles on there. Mr. Toad, Skyway, and I think even a Space Mountain rocket and Snow White car were there too.

I don't even have 1/4 of mine out as I'm trying to catalog and picture everything as I take it out of boxes. But here is what I currently have out:

Curio in the living room (WDCC's, Lenox, Enesco, Snowglobe & Plates):

I have my Masper Replica I got for Christmas on top of our entertainment center (Yeah, he's fighting Optimus Prime!)

On upstairs to the "Duckie Room". I only have some of the shelves and one picture up. So All that's really on display curently is the plushes, the picture and the smaller mini stuff in the Donald Duck Curio (I got it for christmas a few years back from my parents...it actually has Donald engraved on the four glass corners):
