Re: What's your best Disneyland/Disney collectable?

As of right now, its my Jungle cruise map that come CMs gave to me...it was the last boat leaving the dock that night and while we were waiting in line they really put on a show for DiSnEyFrEaK21, my little brother and my sister and myself...and they gave each of us a map just before we boarded. For my next trip im hoping to get the Auctioneer big fig or one of the big fig mickeys! YAY!

One is a mug with the five different posing Mickey's on it, from early 90's. I was so broke that trip but saw that rootbeer floats were being served those mugs at Carnation plaza for $5. Had to get it. Dessert and a souvenir, what a 2fer.
The other is a Harmony kingdom box featuring Mickey's from different era's. My Mom gave that one to me just beofre she died.

Mine is a card issued by the Walt Disney Company with a beautiful drawing (similar to the original poster) announcing the release of "Snow White"; on the back of the card is a penciled drawing of Pinnochio sitting in a corner with the words "Coming Next..."

I bought it 25 years ago at an auction

I wish. No that is a remake that they did for the 50th anniversary of Disneyland. They used the original molds and everything. He has glass eyes and his toungue wobbles. I wish he was an animatronic. Still I have a speaker nearby which I will occasionally play his speil from.

Re: What's your best Disneyland/Disney collectable?

Has to be my two Indy Decoder cards and the two Park maps from the 40th anniversary...Especially since one i wrote in pen the date, May 21, 1995, which most likely the first time I rode Indy (working the attraction makes it all more valuable to me now...)

I have lots of more recent stuff, collectibles from July 17th, 2005...but I have to admit that my Cast Member name tags are at the top of my list...(especially the one with my one-year pin)...as a cast member, i am not really allowed to keep anything since it's all company property, except the name tags, those I get to keep, so I truly treasure them...
Went to a party the other night
All the ladies were treating me right
Moving my feet to the disco beat
How in the world could I keep my seat
All of a sudden I began to change
I was on the dance floor acting strange
Flapping my arms I began to cluck
Look at me..I'm the disco duck

At this moment, I am totally in love with the two castles from Olszewski. Aren't they beautiful?

    How pretty!!

My item isn't from disneyland, but from WDW, and I have a few things...a old Donald Duck plush from the 70s, a Mickey mouse plush from the early 80s, and two Haunted Mansion wooden puzzle boxes.
