Mine came this morning too. That really is about the stupidest way to ship that little plaque... in the only compartment in the packaging where it can do real damage, with those all those little flagpoles!

Yeah, the people at Disneyland who re-packaged them after Bob signed them didn't do a very good job. Two of the ones I got (I haven't checked the other two yet) were put back in the box upside down, so that the "bottom" indicator was what you saw when you opened the box. I inverted it before opening it. The plaque also should have been included in the little plastic certificate envelope.

I figured the "bottom indicator" was there when you opened the box so you could just invet the box to get it out and have the right side up.

UPS tried to deliver mine today, but I missed him by a few minutes. We'll see tomorrow in what condition mine is in.

Disneyland called me on my cell this morning to confirm the issues that I called about. They are sending me an airbill to get both of my pieces replaced.

The first piece has a damaged "L" sign that looks like it was broke and then glued back on.

The second piece had a flag damaged from the plaque flying around inside the box and missing a certificate.


Pretty disappointed but they're doing the right ways to fix it I suppose.

Just got mine in a few minutes ago....no damage, but the plaque on the front seems to be stained with something....anyone else have this problem?

Also once I put the batteries in......they got extremely hot, too hot to even touch. Pulled them out immediately, guess I have to make a return. So disappointed!

Why five?

Two regular ones, two AP ones and one CM one. Had to have the collection, and lots of places to put them.

There should be a removable protective plastic on top of the plaque.

Yep, removed the plastic.....didn't help.

Mine are OK but I haven't tried putting the batteries in yet. But all the graphics look great, nothing marred or nicked. So far so good.

I hope you able to get yours replaced Wolfy.

My one question is what is that extra little plaque for? Is it supposed to be stuck on somewhere? It doesn't look like it came off of some part of the base.
