I'm in love with the Princesses. And the Evil Queen. I just have NO place to put them. I'm scared the little one would destroy them.

They sell non-Disney Jim Shore cats and dogs at the Celestial Seasonings plant in Boulder, CO. Made me giggle to see them there.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I saw a small Pinocchio at Hallmark today and was SO tempted, but, I resisted. I can't start getting a load of these now!

    Re: Jim Shore Figures

I love the Jim Shore stuff. I only noticed them a couple years ago, but didn't buy any. I loved the folk look to them, and the details...and the price, of course. The first piece that sucked me in was this....

    "Castle of Dreams"

I have no idea if this is availible outside the parks, but I saw it at the NYC World of Disney and had to have it. I was lucky because I guess Jim Shore had just been there and signed a bunch, so I got one of those.

After that, I saw the Tink Halloween one and fell in love. I also ended up getting the Minnie & Figaro on the Jack-o-lantern too. I really love them and I especially love the holiday ones.

My brother is super patriotic so I started giving him the Mickey Patriotic ones. I think he only needs 3 more. He loves them!!

I got a Mickey Vampire one from a friend as a gift and I got a small Mickey one from my niece and nephew.

Some of them are cuter than other ones!

I've only seen that castle at the parks - I'm dying to get it. The next trip, it will be mine.

    Re: Jim Shore Figures

There are a couple of cute ones to watch for. One is of Mickey in a Skeleton Costume (for Halloween of course). The other is Tinker Bell sitting on a bell ringer bell.

Now a complaint. I saw a Blue Fairy one with Geppeto and Pinocchio. It is a music box. What does it play? "When you wish upons a star"? nope. Little Wooden Head? nope. Umm, not Hi Diddilee dee? Nope. It plays Twinkle Twinkle Little star. What the heck? LAME JIM SHORE. You are being cheap. Pay the licensing fee. YOu'll sell a whole lot more.

How exciting Jen! I know you've wanted that one for a while now! Yay!! When are you going to DL? I didn't know you had a trip planned. Yay for that too!
