    Disney Ornaments

One of my favorite things to collect is Christmas ornaments. I have Hallmark Ornaments from when they began making them. When I visit a Disney Park I always get an ornament or two, or three, for my Christmas Tree. With Christmas coming I figured now would be a good time to start up an ornament thread. Also I picked up a few new ones today from the Outlet store in WA and I wanted to show you what I got. So show off your Disney theme park ornaments.

First one I want to show you is a couple I bought in Disneyland last year.

Ariel and Belle are my 2 favorite princesses. I generally do not like plastic ornaments. These are porcelian and at $16 a piece I loved them. Well I was at the Disneyland Outlet store in WA today and found the other 2 that I passed on. I was about to have a friend pick these up for me, so I am glad that I saw them today. I got Cinderella and Aurora, for $18 total.

If anyone sees Snow White or Jasmine in this let me know.

When the NW Micechat group went to the outlet store in Sept. Simply Mad and her mom bought the only 2 Radko ornaments they had. When I was there today I found they restocked and got these for my Aunt, who really, really wanted them.

They are regularly $44 a piece, but I got all 3 for just over $70. I wish they had Fantasyland. The Radko ornaments are not my thing, but they are nice, especially at that price.

I'll share more as I get get them out in early December. I'd love to see what you all have.

    Re: Disney Ornaments

Disney ornaments is one of my many addictions. I think I am up to 21 sets of the storybook ornaments. I bought my first Disney ornaments (I think they are porcelein or ceramic) at Disneyland 22 years ago when the Christmas shop was in the castle. I will have to wait a few more weeks before I start unpacking all my x-mas ornaments to take pictures. I am also not a Radko fan.

These are a few of the Radko's have:

    Captain Hook,
    Scrooge McDuck,
Chip& Dale holding a Christmas Tree
One tree is all glass ornaments and this a just few that I can remember at the moment.

His stuff is nice, but it is just so expensive. All of those type of ornaments are. I have so much stuff I have to be real choosy these days. It's like my mom says, an ornament has to be really special to get our attention.

Oh I love those Radko ones!

I have a serious addiction with Disney Ornaments, I spent most of my souveiner budget at WDW last year on ornaments I get one from the park every year.

I got one of these personalized for each of my boys

I have a matching one to these and the color scheme is reversed

Those are the only pix I could find on this laptop.

I only have one tree at my house (well not including my outdoor ones) but I would say that 85% of it is Disney. I wish we could have more than one tree so I could have a 100% disney tree.

    Re: Disney Ornaments

I'm a disney tree person! It started when my husband and I got married. For our first christmas, we were out shopping and found a mickey tree topper - he's dressed like santa and waves a lantern. After that, I'd start picking up ornaments at the after christmas sales. Mostly plastic characters.

This year when I went to Walt Disney World, I went to the employee warehouse and was able to buy a bunch of mickey ears ornaments. These are glass, and I'm really hoping that they all survive the season. I would like to start getting the personalized ornaments.

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

    Re: Disney Ornaments

Our Christmas tree is a split: Half Disney and half Transformers. My sweetie never had a Christmas tree growing up and my parents go all out at Chrismtas. So i try to make it special for him and am willing to share tree space with stuff he likes. I havea feeling though that eventually we will wind up with 2 trees!

I love Disney ornaments. I buy at least one at WDW every year, but usually 3.
I also buy the ones from Lenox. I love those. And O have about a dozen of the Hallmark ones. My tree is mostly Disney, I would say about 70%- becuase I do have some Star Wars and Spiderman ones. I also like the plain red or gold balls on the tree as well.

Yes, we have collected ornaments on each of our visits and our tree has other Disney related items as well.
