Well, can you get an AP discount with that ... if anything you can take solace in that.

I did the math after I purchased maybe 10 pieces and decided to quit. I'll never be able to afford a home to display them if spend like this... and my spendin is already out of control. I'll pick a few key pieces but other than that... I'm done. They're really really cool though.

I didn't see the platform cover on there, though I know not everyone got that. We also have two of the omnibuses and horse-drawn carriages because there are two on actual Main Street.

This is definitely an investment, not just a toy. We've been collecting this series for almost 5 years now.

We also have the WDW castle, but that was a gift.

omg...I did NOT have to see that.....esp. knowing I paid retail or PAP for SOOOO very few of the pieces. We must agree to NEVER EVER EVER let my husband see this thread!

And that plexiglass cover ran about $300 if you picked up.

Ohhh yeah, also, sales tax at Disneyland is 7.75% so takes another $66 or so off your price.

I'm still crying :lol:. I didn't even count the ebay premiums I paid and the shipping costs. Maybe I need to join an OA (Olszewski Anonymous) group.
