I'm still looking for the Bumper Save Hauler set, and the Nitroade Hauler set and crew set. Has anyone seen them?

These Target crew/pit sets have been a massive pain the rear. I finally broke down and purchased the Octane Gain set off ebay. I've never had such a difficult time finding something for such an extended period of time.

On a brighter note, I found the next wave of six Final Laps this morning.

So, still looking for the Bumper Save Crew set, Nitroade Crew Set (is that even really out yet?), and have yet to find a Bessie.

What's in the last wave of Final Lap?

    I haven't seen Bessie either.

I see Bumper Save crew a lot now. Do you want me to pick one up for you if I find it?

Valerie Veate, Duff Wrecks, Jonathan Wrenchworths, Milo, Timothy Timeszone Truecoat, and Marilyn. Now I just need to watch the movie again and see where all these folks appear

If it's not a huge hassle, that would be awesome. I can Paypal you money for the purchase and shipping once you've found one. If I find one before then I'll let you know (but I highly doubt I will based on all the LeakLess and Dinoco sets around here). Thanks!

I was able to get a Bumper Save Crew set for full retail plus reasonable shipping, so I went for it. Now there's no need to continually go to Target for awhile So, thanks for the offer to look, but I'm covered now.

Also, I've found a couple of the Chase Mater with Hood, and a couple of the Teki/**** 2-packs lately.

I still haven't found teki/****, but have seen a lot of Heavy Metal Mater single carded figures.

More luck today on the way to work. I found Tabinu, Ref w/Bell, Van-San, clean Dragon McQueen and Drift Party Mater. Still no sign of Cho, Abschlepp, Kaa Ressu, Kyandee, Stripped Kabuto, Rodney the Rocker or Manji.

I got the Mater's Tall Tales for Christmas and blew through the whole bluray... I didn't realize this was such a sparse set of shorts! At least it was entertaining but very dangerous territory if I were to get any of these toys.

But one caught my eye in Tokyo Mater. They made a CAT BUS CAR (from My Neighbor Totoro). Please tell me they're gonna make that toy!!!

Check out the scene after he finishes the race. Top left hand corner you'll see Cat Bus. I think he's in the crowds earlier in the short but it's more difficult to pin point.

    Re: Mattel's Cars - discussion

So out of all the CARS TOONS toys I wanted, Heavy Metal Mater was it. I was stoked to see that TARGET has clearanced their Cars Toons 4packs down but after looking at it, it's still not worth the $20 and change. You get Mater, Lightning, and the two pitty guitarists. That's THREE cars (the two pitties are packed together - $5 each) for the original price of $30?? And clearanced to $20 is still a stretch. Did they ever make a drummer?

I saw him earlier today after you mentioned he was in there. Thanks though for affirming what I saw.
