Can anyone assist with information on a free standing 4 inch tall bronze Mickey statue? It reads 176/200 signed "Gibson" It was left to me and I would love to find out more about it.

Re: The WDCC Walt Disney Classics Collection Thread

Well, I caved today. Botcon is in Cincinnati this year and one of our friends came in from Seattle and we (being my boyfriend, our friend and myself) decided we would take a class offered at the convention. So during lunch we walked around a few blocks downtown (yeah, we live 20 minutes north of the city and RARELY go downtown ). Well we happened upon a store called Saxony Imports FULL of WDCC's, Lenox, crystal...all things I really didn't need ((but really wanted). We poked in the store for a bit...

And I came out a member of the WDCC! Complete with my new Duckie statue, pin, postcards, artwork...everything but my membership card because it has to be mailed to me.

And of course, I STILL can't find my blasted camera cord to take real pictures so I had to find this one online:

I already had 9 figures. This is just the first time I've become a member. And if I sell my Botcon set...I could EASILY pick up 2-3 more this weekend!

Re: The WDCC Walt Disney Classics Collection Thread

I am a Huge Disneymaniac with an extensive collection of the early WDCC. My favorite are the ones from the Little Mermaid. I have been selling off some here and there. I have the early Snow White and Cinderella collections and some miscellaneous pieces. We had fun collecting while the kids were small. They are all grown and gone now so its not as much fun. Im glad I found you guys to mouse chat with!

Too many to list! I have strong affections for Donald & Scrooge, Roger Rabbit though.

All the ducks have such personality. Scrooge is my son's favorite. Kinda funny since he is studying finance!
