edit: although i guess you're in canada so that would be pricey indeed!
I think I'll eventually find them here, it's just that our local stores are poorly stocked. We have Toys R Us, Walmart, Zellers, The Bay, and Sears, but the problem I think is that they aren't staffed well. Most of the people are heading to Alberta and retailers are grabbing however can breath and speak. So the level of service in the stores has gone down quite a bit, thus the low level of stock. Two days ago at Toys R Us I asked one of the employees if they have any more Indy figures in the back and the guy didn't even understand what I was talking about. The Jungle Cutter that I picked up was so far the only one I've seen in all of Kelowna.

Indiana Jones magazine issue #2 is supposed to be out now too. Hopefully I'll be able to find it.

Looking at Hasbro's website, here is what's in wave 3:
    Colonel Vogel
    Dr. Elsa Schneider
    Grail Knight
    Henry Jones
Indiana Jones (with machine gun and tie)
    Young Indy
So far there aren't any vehicles listed for Last Crusade. Hopefully they'll make some airplanes. Hasbro also has listed the Akator playset, but I don't think this one is coming out until the fall.

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

I had not hear that about McFarlane closing there inhouse figures. But this was the last Dragon anyway as I no more room for Dragons. And I wasn't really interested in the other Dragons/figures in that line anyway. I don't get Spawn anymore as that line became boring a long time ago. One less thing for me to worry about. I have enough with Harry Potter and the new Dark Crystal Figure line from NECA.

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

I just joined Mice Chat and being quite a toy collector myself, just had to join this thread.

My latest acquisitions over the weekend were Stitch Yoda, Transformers Animated Starscream, Cybertron Optimus, Blackarachnia, Prowl, Lockdown and Ratchet.

Judging by the posts I've read here, I collect pretty much the same things as most of you - Star Wars, Transformers, GI Joe, Indy, DC Superhero figures, Cars and now Wall-E.

Thanks for the welcome Coheteboy and Melonballer!

I got a Cobra Viper in the mail from Hasbrotoyshop yesterday so the acquisitions just keep on coming even though I tell myself that I should really cut down.

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

Finally getting around to photographing stuff that I got MONTHS ago but only now opening.....

I got this box of Cobras on sale at Amazon for $9.99, which is a STEAL! Each figure is $7.99 now if sold separately.

I bought it only for this guy though: Stinger Driver

Melonballer found me a figure that I skipped the first time I saw it back in early 2007 and has since became harder than I expected to find. It's the SUPER BATTLE DROID that comes with removable fire. It's actually the best Super Battle Droid figure they've ever made!

He also found me Zev Senesca, the Rebel Snowspeeder pilot that saved Han Solo who saved Luke Skywalker. Two tautauns died.

Here he is with Wedge and Luke.

Excellent. glad to hear you liked the battle droid. He turned out to be a great figure. Now if they could only make a really nice battle droid.

    HULK SMASH!!!

A couple of the Burger King Incredible Hulk toys were added to my collection:

The Hulk toys aren't as fun as the Indy toys they put out. For example the Hulk Smash toy on the left, all it does is make a noise when you tap the toy (a spring inside makes the noise, how exciting). The toy on the right, Mirror Morph Hulk, is just as exciting. You pull on the grey plastic and a picture of Hulk lights up by an LED.

I've had the movie Optimus Prime for awhile now but finally opened him up! So I consider it a recent acquisition!
