Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

I took a little break from Indy because none of the Last Crusade stuff has shown up here yet and there are a few items I'm still looking for from wave 1 which are nowhere to be found around here. Anyway here's what I got today, some Pixar:

And since Ratatouille is disappearing off the shelves and being replaced by the robots, I got:

I guess these were about $8-$10 when they first came out. Then they were marked down to $4.98, then $2.98, and now, I got them for $1.98! (if only the Cars were marked down to $1.98 )

Latest in my collection is the 12" Han Solo by sideshow collectibles. While I'm starting to really slow down my large scale figure collecting, I can't resist the old school Star Wars. 12" Luke Skywalker is comin soon!

Picked up a wall-e toy. The "Disney Pixar's InterAction Talking Wall-E" to be exact. Everyone at work loves em. Looking for Eve, going to have to swing by DLR to get her.

    Everybody's got a laughin' place-
trouble is most folks won't take the time to go look for it.

new stuff from me. Mcfarlane fantasy series 1. They cancelled the series after series 1 so I am only going to keep the 2. First the Basilisk

    And the Eternal Dragon.

These 2 went with my dragons collections. The otehr 2 Tyr and Ogre are going back. its a shame they cancelled the series. It was really neat looking

I got the Transformers Universe Prowl, Indy titanium Cargo Truck and a single carded Gopher bot (Wall-E) today. A fairly light day by my standards though the wallet/checkbook certainly enjoys it.

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

I got another German Soldier from the Indiana Jones line. I got three Sankara stone relics now. However, I feel that I got ripped off; I put the three beside each other and they don't want to glow! I got a little army of five German soldiers now (3 single and one 2-pack), but I'm thinking of getting two more for my Troop Car.

Last Crusade figures have hit the shelves, but I haven't seen any yet in this neck of the woods. I really want to get Vogel and Henry Sr.

Today I got in the mail a Pajama Jack to replace the one that broke of mine (his arm snapped at the joint...no hope of fixing). I also got the Jack of All Trades boxed set from the Nightmare Before Christmas line to keep MIP.

I can cross one toy off of my "Most Wanted" list as I bought Animated Leader class Megatron this morning and used the $5 off coupon from the McDonalds happy meal bags.

Quite a busy weekend I had... tons of toys.

First up is an import from Japan. Wicket the Ewok vinyl doll by Medicom. It's less than 6" and yeah.... that means it was $10 per inch. sigh.

    Got some new Joe vehicles!

    VAMP with Clutch

    RAM CYCLE w/ Breaker

    FLIGHT POD w/ Tele Viper

From Disneyland, I got Mickey Mouse as Indiana Jones ($8)

And series 2 of the Disney Star Wars collection $9.95 each (donald duck is my favorite)

    Here's the entire group:

And last... box set of rejected robots from WALL-E! $20 at Toys'r'Us.

p.s. Melonballer, i got your joes, thanks! I'll have to do those this weekend if i have a chance.

Excellent. I am glad to hear they arrived. Did you find the ROTJ coin in there?
