    Good morning, son

Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Unfortunately, I don't have an extra of Spock's ship, but I do have one extra each of the Enterprise and Klingon Warbird.

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

Went to the Disney Store Outlet by us today and picked up an Eve action figure, which I never got when I bought Wall E, and a Buzz Lightyear, ultimate poseable figure. He's really well done, especially for a Disney Store toy. And, he came with a Little Green Man!!

BTW, bigbadtoystore seems to be having a clearance sale. A lot of GI Joe, Star Wars, and Indy toys for anyone interested. Probably not what you guys look for, but thought I would pass the info along.

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

We found the new Transformers Revenge of the Fallen toys today at a store in Columbus Ohio. I like the Depthcharge, but my sweetie is going to return the Demolisher toy. It's REALLY bad.

The one good thing about it is we managed to turn it into a wheelchair mode. That's really about it. We're at some friend so I'll post the pic of it when I get home. He also picked up a Starscream, Bumblebee, Soundwave and Ransack.

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

Ohhh Revenge of the Fallen toys!

I might only buy Sideswipe this time around as that will be my way of sticking it to Hasbro for cancelling Transformers Animated. Thanks for not making Arcee or Rodimus or Perceptor and especially Omega Supreme. <---- that was how I looked after the Transformers Animated finale yesterday.

I did buy something today - an Indy Grail Knight for only 3.99! Now talk about another line that deserved a much better fate from the Big H! Also got some Star Wars titaniums (hmmm, another line that Hasbro is cancelling) - Clone Wars Y-Wing, Hound's Tooth, Sebulba's Podracer and Red IV's X-Wing.

Yup. I think she's a little too big for Wall E's scale, but I eventually gave in and bought her anyway.

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

And as promised here is Demolisher from the Revenge of the Fallen Transformers line in "wheelchair" mode:

Pardon the bad pic, it was taken with my cellphone. My sweetie is returning this toy as he is not real fond of it.

Now, this isn't a toy but I had a GREAT thrift store find over the weekend and had to share it cause it brings a giant smile to my face. From what I have found this was made in 2003 and offered for a month with a vacation package or sold for $85 in the parks. It was marked $30 and the display it was on was marked "50% off", so I got it for $15.

The frame and picture are in MINT condition. It's missing the COA, but hey, for $15 I'm not complaining!

Who's riding Demolisher? It looks like some jacked up G.I.Joe... using Zandar's torso.

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

It was some figure they (my bf and his friend) pieced together. We'd just done a thrift store run looking for parts and weapons.

They came back with a whole bag of stuff. Enough stuff that I now have a glow-in-the-dark painted Happy Meal Beast Wars Manta Ray and a Happy Meal Duke with a Destro head (complete with a construction barrel witches hat). Duke is also wearing a diaper on the outside of his green pants and holding a sword that is drilled thru his actual head. But there's no blood.

We live in Ohio and couldn't make Botcon this year so we held our own customizing class this past weekend. It was great!
