Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

    Here's my latest acquisitions:

I fell in love with Iron Man after seeing the movie so I got these, Iron Monger, Mark 01, and Mark 03:

I managed to get the last three toys at Burger King:

I guess this week they will be replaced by that guy in the Fedora.

I've always been a Lego freak since I was a kid. I picked up my first Lego set since I was a kid:

I'm also a steam locomotive fanatic so I thought this was a neat set, albeit small.

Indiana Jones finally arrived at the local Toys R Us, so I couldn't resist and picked up:

I also got a couple more Cars toys, Bling Bling McQueen and Cruisin McQueen.

That's it for now, time to play with the toys!

Cool toys, barbossa! I'm surprised you found some Iron Man toys! Those are CLEANED OUT in my area. I'm glad I have Mark III already.

The only two Iron Man toys I did not see at any local stores are the Iron Monger that you can pop the top off to reveal the guy inside, and the Stealth Operations Suit Iron Man that did not appear in the movie. There are quite a few Mark 03, Mark 02, Mark 01, and PT (Prototype) Iron Mans around though.

The local Burger King was left with only three of the Iron Man toys. I guess the Iron Man promotion will be ending this week with the arrival of the Indiana Jones toys that, hopefully, I will be getting. Next week's meals will consist of cheeseburgers and kid sized fries.

Ok, I did some searching and found what the exclusives are. Here's the link:

    I want the 12" Ark!

I'm interested to see what the Crystal Skeleton with throne looks like, but it seems theyare still keeping this secret until the movie comes out.

The glasses are Eye Tech Iron Man, it's just yellow lensed plastic glasses. The other (silver) is Blast Away Iron Man. I wanted to get On-the-Move Iron Monger, but our Burger King didn't have it. The Iron Man promotion is over and now it's time for the guy in the Fedora...

Got my first two Indiana Jones Burger King toys, the only two they have so far, Motor Wheels Mutt and the Indiana Jones Journal with invisible ink pen/LED flashlight.

What's neat is you can use the LED flashlight to reveal invisible messages on the kid's meal bag and I think they got something in the restaurant that you can use it on too.

Some more Hasbro Indiana Jones toys. First up, Rene Belloq

I also got the Indiana Jones with Temple Pitfall:

This one snaps together with the Indiana Jones with Temple Trap deluxe set.

And some Cars. PT Flea and Flick:

A 2nd Red and Stanley (gonna open this one):

As well as a 2nd Fred to open:

I wanted to get the Indiana Jones Transport Truck but the local Toys R Us was out of them. And being in the Indiana Jones mood, I also picked up the novel Indiana Jones and the Secret of the Sphinx.

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

Got some new toys to share with you all! Indiana Jones!

Here's a comparison to the Disney exclusive from a few years ago.

    Too tired...

Aaaand, my new gem of the collection: WALL-E! I got this at Toys'R'Us for $5.99.

You can see on the back that there's a lot more to get:

I also got Eve, but she looks rather large compared to Wall-E.

    The toys of summer

Here's a look at the droids of Disneyland!

Okay so who will make more money? Indy? or Wall-E?

I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

    Great photos Coheteboy!

I too went nuts today with Indy! Here what I got:

    Belloq and Fertility Idol relic:

Here's my opened Burger King toys, Mutt on a bike and the LED pen:

I picked up Marion today, here she is with Belloq and her relic, the headpiece of the staff of Ra:

Today's other acquisitions, Transport Truck, Sallah, Indiana Jones (with idol), Indiana Jones (whip action), and Cairo Swordsman:

Kingdon of the Crystal Skull figures, Ugha Warrior, Irina Spalko, and Cemetery Warrior:

I can't wait for them to release Temple of Doom toys. I really want to get Mola Ram, hopefuly they designed him with a flaming heart in hand!

I got enough stickers now to send away for the Crystal Skeleton and throne exclusive figure. I'm hoping to get at least two of these, because there is apparently a bunch of them in the movie (oops spoiler! )

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

I am going to try one more time to import pictures and get the text to not run through the pictures. Here is some new stuff from NECA. The Platform 9 3/4 wooden sign:

    The metal Leaky Cauldron sign:

The Weasley Clock that really tells time:

The two new busts are gifts from a friend that works for Warners and takes is the contact between Warners and the Toy Companies about licensed products. He brought me these Promo Busts last week. They are no longer available. They are the Dumbledore and Dementor busts:

Also he brought this miniature Nimbus 2001 broom from The Noble Collection. It is still available along with the Firebolt broom.

And a new look at the finished Harry Potter Magic Room:
