It sounds like you haven't read a Green Lantern comic in quite some time. You may owe it to yourself to check out the Blackest Night series and then you'll know all about Black and Yellow and Orange and Red and Blue and Indigo Lanterns. . By the way, those rings were given out free if you bought certain DC comics, mostly Blackest Night tie -ins back in November.

Yoyo, I saw about 20 of those things at Walmart today. It looks like demand has dropped dramatically on them as I just looked at some completed auction listings where some went for less than retail.

I haven't bought too much lately - just a Lego City Minifigs set that was on clearance and a Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Dirge - he wasn't in the movie but the toy has the movie's packaging.

By the way, I still have not watched that film and it's likely I never will if I have anything to say about it.

Ok whew. If they DID change the name then I could add that to the list of Hollywood movies that raped my childhood.

Alright, I have a HUGE update but I'll just start with DC Universe. You already saw some of Brand42's additions and these are pretty much the same.

    Here's KATMA SUI

    SHARK

    DEADMAN

    CYBORG SUPERMAN

    THE QUESTION

A comparison to other figures with suits

    JOHN STEWART

    STEPPENWOLF (SUPER POWERS VERSION)

    He's Darkseid's uncle

    STEPPENWOLF (COMIC BOOK VERSION VARIANT)

and... the collect & connect figure this time is KILOWOG

Here's a group photo of various Collect & Connect figures

and the group shot of all of Wave 11

    ENJOY!

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

MORE new additions... I got an Ewok chubby.

LITERALLY, you sickos! Hot Toys (a Hong Kong based toy company) has made a line of Star Wars themed Russian dolls. I don't think they're doing very well and not easy to find at retail so I resorted to EBAY.

    It comes with three

And each one fits in the other:

Cute huh? And I noticed that I left off the feather from the headpiece from those above shots, so here is how it's supposed to look:

$65 a piece. They are getting harder to find. I couldn't get one without the other, but am sad Jun never did their line of Up figures. I really want a Muntz to match my Carl. Maybe wave 2?
