The Diamond Catalog is now carrying these light boxes. I ordered the Beauty and the Beast one from this months catalog. Same price as at Disneyland.

Diamond is the main (and only) distributer for Comic Books, Action Figures, Toys, etc for Comic Books Stores and some big chain toy stores. The catalog comes into comic stores near the end of every month and solicits new merchandise that will start shipping two months ahead. If you have a comic book store near you find out if they have the June Catalog. The July Catalog will come in next week. It's a huge, thick book that has thousands of new things coming out every month. An invaluable must for the true collector.

It shows the major comic book companies, the independent publishers, Trading Cards, Games, DVD's and CD's (mostly only those that are related to Comics, Sci Fi, Fantasy or old TV shows, Apparel (T-Shirts mostly but some hats), Action Figures, Imported toys and collectibles and just about anything else you can think of.

It sells for $2.95 and you get a separate Catalog for Marvel Comics and Figures plus an order book. Some comics shops have either a discounted price (or free) if you are a subscriber with them. You take the catalog home, settle down with munchies and a soda and peruse the wonders of toys, comics and other fun stuff coming in two months.

If you are anything like me when it comes to stuff like this, you spend a couple of days going through it page by page looking for some new goodies that you didn't know about and just have to have. And they do carry Disney Figures, books and DVD's, although these items might appear in chain stores before your local comic book store.

You can either use this information to ask at your favorite store or put an order in to your comics store. There would be no comic book stores and many toy departments without Diamond. The book is a couple inches thick and has over 700 pages each month.

From the sounds of it, it sounds like you are talking about the Gallery of Light boxes from Robert Olszewski. Those were announced to be carried by more than just Disney.

The shadowboxes from Dave Avanzino are only avaiable from Disney.

Yes, I didn't pay attention again. It's the Robert Olszewski Gallery of Light boxes. I don't even know what the other ones are. My bad. But these are very cool.
