Talking 4 Magical Days aboard the Disney Wonder

Ok, story time...make sure to read this before looking at my pictures.

So my mom works for an amazing travel agency. Yes the still exist and this one is a great one. So my mom has worked there for 15 years and as a gift her boss gave her a trip on the Disney Cruise for 6, so that meant my mom, dad, sister, sister's fiancée, me and my hubby all got to go on a Disney Cruise for free. We had to pay for excursions, drinks, and any other extras, but that was it. Lets just say it was an amazing gift and we were very thankful.

We flew in Saturday August 22 and spent the night at a good neighbor hotel and just got used to the time change. Sunday before the Cruise we stopped at NASA. So here are a few shots.

(yes I know some are a little off center, I was still getting used to my new camera and the weight was different than I'm used to.)

Me and the hubby at the entrance

I know I'm in Florida when I see clouds like this

The Hubby wanted a picture of this...

So after a stop at NASA we made our way to the cruise terminal.

And saw our first views of the ship.

I love all the details of the cruise terminal, this is on the floor.

I also love the model ship they have.

The details are amazing. *This was using my 55-200mm lens, first time ever*

Since we were staying in a Suite *yes all 6 of us in 1 room* we were treated to a special reception where we met our personal concierge and got to relax before our room was ready.

Say it with fruit, and people will listen.

Thats all for now. The rest of the story and more pictures soon. Enjoy!!

The trip continues below!

Re: 4 Magical Days aboard the Disney Wonder

After about 30 minutes we were told our room was ready. We were on the 8th floor in room number 8030.

Thats right...we stayed in the Walt Disney Suite! It was amazing!!! There are floor plans on the Disney Cruise website if you want to see the official layout, but I will do my best to describe the room. You walk in the door and there is a half bath to your left. Then a little further down the hallway there is a closet/bar with a sink and cabinets. Then you are in the living room. To the left is the dining room that seats 8! Then off the dining room is a bedroom with 2 twin beds and 2 beds that pull down out of the ceiling. There is a walk in closet, and a full bath complete with a whirl-pool tub/shower. Back in the living room, to the right is a library complete with books and a Murphy bed that folds down out of the wall. Then off the library is the master bedroom. Off the master bedroom is another bathroom with a whirl-pool tub, and separate shower. It was amazing. The photos are good, but do not do the room justice. Enjoy these. I have more that I might post later.

This is from the living room, looking toward the door

The master bathroom

cause every bathroom needs a tv!

double sink in the master bath

The half bathroom

This picture was right next to the door

this was the little side room with a sink

This was the artwork in that little room...my favorite!

Again, because every bathroom needs one of these

There are more, but they are for another posting.

More on the next page!

I can't believe you stayed in the Walt Disney suite! I've been on five Disney cruises now and have never even been in there...

Was this your first cruise?

Wow, the Walt Disney Suite?... Thanks for sharing your photos, I had looked into the cruise all year, but plans changed. Someday I'd love to go on a Disney Cruise....I hear they're so much fun.

Re: 4 Magical Days aboard the Disney Wonder

This was my 3rd cruise, 2nd Disney Cruise and my hubby's first time on the Disney Wonder. It was also my mom, dad, and sister's second time on a Disney Cruise, and my sister's fiancée's first time cruising ever.

I highly suggest cruising to people, it's so much fun and there is so much to do and see, on any cruise line! I loved it.

More pictures are on the way, just not tonight.
