I am on the Maiden Voyage of the Disney Dream right now and we are about to dock in Naussau.

The ship is HUGE, and there are lots of people onboard, but you don't notice the crowds too much . . except in the gift shops trying to buy maiden voyage merchandise!

The food is good and there is lots of it.

The send off for the Dream was amazing! There were sky writers wishing us Bon Voyage, planes with banners doing the same, thousands of people onshore cheering and waving mickey hand signs. It was fun!

The aqua duck is AWESOME!!

I will be posting a trip report later but if you have any questions I will do my best to answer them!

I am still on the Dream! It was Pirate night tonight--the fireworks at sea are AWESOME!!

Al Weiss, Tom Staggs, Karl Holz and a few other Disney big wigs are on the cruise also.

I will be Sailing on the Dream this Sunday. Any big tips? I'm really curious about the food. How did the main Dining system work for you?

60% of the crew are new, so please be patient--they are just getting used to big crowds. The preview cruises had much smaller groups and the issues that are popping up are having them make crowd control adjustments. . ie the line for guest services was winding through the elevator bank area, so they set up a velvet roped queue instead.

People on this cruise are VERY focused on getting the Maiden Voyage merchandise, so that has been an issue for some folks.

The main dining system is fine, we don't get to the dining room exactly at our dining time because there is always a long line to get in.

We saw Villians tonight (ok) Golden Mickeys (revamped and fabulous) and tonight is the new show Believe. EVERYONE says you will cry when you see it, that it is fabulous.

I can't wait to see your pictures! What's the decor for the Dream? We got to see her at the side of the canal when we left Port Canaveral on the Wonder. Everybody was out on deck to wave at us as we left for California, even people in Aquaduck were waving!

The decor of the Dream is Contemporary mixed with Art Deco.

I love that the cruise people are so friendly with each other!
