    Crew Member Missing from Disney Wonder

    Crew member missing from Disney Cruise Line ship

    CELEBRATION --

    Disney Cruise Line is searching for a missing crew member from the Disney Wonder.

    According to posts on the DISboards website, a crew member is believed to have gone missing Tuesday from the cruise ship.

    The Wonder is in the middle of a 7-day cruise. On Tuesday the ship was at sea.

    People who say they are onboard the ship have posted that a female crew member from youth programs is missing.

    Disney Cruise Line released this statement:

    Given the circumstances we are very concerned about the crew member’s well-being and are doing everything possible to assist with the search effort and investigation.

    The Disney Wonder is set to return to Los Angeles.

    Oh boy. The ship was at sea that day? This doesn't sound good.

    I was going to post the same information. Just saw this story on my local news station. A Coast Guard crew from San Diego called off it's search and came back.

    Very sad news indeed....

    Called off the search?
    It's like they aren't even trying.

    Figure out where the ship was on Tuesday and search that area.
    Check for what the weather was like. If it was windy she could've drifted somewhere else.
    If the ship has any security cameras check them to see if she is in them.
    Look for anyone that might have seen her before she disapeared and ask them where they were.
    Check for her fingerprints or any DNA samples left behind on the ship.
    Have dogs sniff where she was last.

    Anything!

    what was the result of this does anyone know?

    I was interested in this story because only days before this story came out, I had decided to bump a Disney Cruise to my #1 thing to do and bumped Disney World to #2. Now my mother is freaking out after hearing this story thinking that I will get abducted, left behind, or fall over board!

    I know this kind of thing is SUPER rare on Disney cruises but I'm curious as to what they think happened?
