http://corporate.disney.go.com/caree...ruiseline.html

Quote:
TOY STORY, the musical: Disney Creative Entertainment is pleased to announce that Academy Award winner, John Lasseter's beloved animated feature has been brilliantly adapted for the Disney Cruise Line by the talented team of Valerie Vigoda and Brendan Milburn. Stefan Novinski will direct and Warren Adams will choreograph. Rehearsals begin in Toronto in late November (with time off for Christmas and New Years), 1 ½ month rehearsal period, 6 months at sea, competitive salary, and single cabin accommodations. Caribbean itinerary.

Oooooh!!! I can't wait for us to see it next year!

DCL shows are the next best thing to Broadway, seriously.

I hope the show isn't replacing Twice Charmed, I haven't gotten to see it yet.

The show will premiere on the Wonder first and will replace Hercules. It will then appear on the Magic and will be used as an additional show and is not scheduled to replace an existing show at this time.

Re: New show on the cruises: Toy Story the Musical

I guys, I'm new to micechat as I have been on another message board for some time and ran into this one now too. I am now going to just jump right in in order to get my post count up. I am happy they will be adding the show. I wish they would mix them up even more. How about adding Hercules to the Magic and Toy Story to both? We have done the Wonder once but have sailed the Magic X 2. We are going back in less than 2 months. What can I say, we are addicted. So I would love to see the classics but a different one as well.

Welcome to MiceChat, always nice to see new people. The new show should be exciting as usually everything Disney does is.

Re: New show on the cruises: Toy Story the Musical

Found this online. I will say, I don't find the new songs very appealing at this point, but I guess we'll have to wait for the finished product before making a complete judgment.
