 | Passport turn-around time I have been hearing people getting their passports within 4 weeks of applying; which is great considering the time frame last year. I just applied for my passport so I am curious to see how long it takes now.

A friend sent us a package in the mail from within our own state, at around the same time, and the passports were faster. Processed and returned, including them sending back an expired passport and my son's birth certificate.

Yeah, thats great. My kids and I took a cruise on pretty short notice the end of August. It took 3 1/2 weeks to get their passports with expidited service. -dave
