Re: Is DCL ridiculously priced?

I would have to say your are paying for the excellence of service Disney offers. I just came off a three night cruise, and the people I was with could not believe how incrediable everything was, I kept on hearing it has over exceed anything I have expected and now I know why you have to pay a little more.

Re: Is DCL ridiculously priced?

The simple answer here is "supply & demand". Let's use Carnival as an example. They have 22 ships to fill up. Hence, their pricing structure is lower. Disney has only 2 ships so they will fill up faster even at a higher price. Let's see what happens when the 2 new ships come on board. But that still leaves them with a lot less cabins to sell then the other cruise lines.
