This trip report gets an A+ for super coolness. I do have to admit that in your other thread when you said that Villains Fan had an encounter with a barracuda I was expecting more of a landshark that O'nut was going to take care of in order to defend her honor. Can't wait to see more.

I love cruises, Disney and fun people. Check, check, check. Sounds like a perfect vacation.
I so badly wanted to do a repo cruise. But 15 days off from work is just not going to happen. I have enough trouble trying to use up my vacation with 2-3 days blocks, fitting in two weeks just in not in the cards.
Great TR, sort of eases the pain of not going - sort of.

^ I purposely didn't use any of my vacation time for almost a year and a half so I could take the two weeks off. And Ken gets more vacation time than I do. Plus , he's on salary and has a normal boss who doesn't try to gyp him out of his earned vacation time!
I have no idea why the only pictures Ken has of Day 3 are our towel animal. It was so nice to leave our staterooms in the morning and come back to beds that were made and bathrooms that were tidied up and had clean towels hanging in them and then to come back at night to beds that were turned down and had animals and chocolate on them!
Day 4 we woke up , looked out the window and saw Aruba:

Just kidding of course. The island was on the other side of the ship.
We were set to go on our first official excursion.....sailing and snorkeling.
We had a short walk to the catamarans. This is what they looked like:

It was fun to pass by the ship on our way to the snorkeling sights:

The captain of the catamaran was really nice and made the trip a lot of fun. The kids loved him too because he cranked them up on tons of Shirley Temples in all different colors.

The Aruba coastline was very colorful and pretty:

I thought for sure the water would be nice and warm, but it was actually kind of cold. I was glad we had skins with us. There were tons of cool fish to see and we also the ruins of a German ship that was sunk.
Back on the deck it was nice and warm. It was fun laying on the net and sunbathing during the wild ride back to the ship:
(sorry, no picture of us in our bikinis because I promised Skywaygirl I wouldn't post them)
But here's sexy Joe:
(never mind, I want to stay on his good side too) : )
But here's gorgeous Joanne:

When we got back to the ship, we said we were just going to grab a quick bite to eat. But then we saw what was for lunch at the buffet and ended up all pigging out. After that , it was time for some shopping!
Katrina was with us at first, but the moment she saw a casino, she decided to go gamble. So Ken and I and Joanne went on an adventure.
The strip near the ship had lots of colorful but touristy type things to buy

I did break down and buy a bongo drum for my girls:

Then we came to lots of really nice shops that had beautiful things to buy that were way out of our budgets. But it was fun to look and dream:

I liked the way the streets and sidewalks looked

This yellow path led to a fancy lingerie store

We skipped that shop , but later on we went to a Calvin Klein store that sold nothing but underwear. I was having fun touching all the underwear on the butts of the mannequins in the windows. I think Ken just wanted to hide! LOL
We bought an overly priced bottle of Patron in a drugstore (by mistake, we didn't realize how much they had marked it up due to importing it from the US) as well as some cards and magnets and other little trinkets for our kids. Then we stopped for drinks and appetizers at this crazy place:

That was the only bar I've ever been to that had escargot as one of the appetizers. We didn't try it , but we did have their their calamari and it was great!
On the way back to the ship , we passed by this cute pink bus:

That was a very fun day all in all!
I hope someone has pictures from the tropical themed dinner we had that night at Parrot Cay on the ship.

^ Yep! But notice how there's no one inside it? How sad!

Awesome! You should have highjacked the love machine and drove around the island. LOL
I am so jealous! You guys totally deserved a trip like this! I am loving the report so far! Keep it up.
wow 15 days?
Amazing. The photos of Castaway Cay reminded me of my cruise on our honeymoon (non-Disney). I wished the boats actually stayed in port longer for activities like - rather then just one day.
How is getting on/off the boat in port? Long lines at all?
Thx for the photos - most excellent report so far!
