i really loved the first 2 Odd Thomas books, but the 3rd one sort of lost me. and i'm a bit angry at the lack of a 3rd book in his Frankenstein series, really enjoyed the first two of those as well. Intensity is a very well titles imho![]()
Longtime Koontz fan. "The Good Guy" was one of his better ones in quite a while, although I also really enjoyed "The Darkest Evening of the Year" and "The Husband", both recent books.
He is a little predictable but I really love his characters, his sense of humor, and of course, his wonderful way with words.
Oh, and the third book in the "Frankenstein" series is due out in 2009, according to his website. It's about time.
"How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?"

I also read Koontz and really enjoyed the Odd Thomas books. Odd is such a great character.
Love Dean!
All time fav's have to be Lightning (the best romantic/sci-fi/thriller ever) and Strangers.
I pick up a few paperbacks every year or so and read them back to back. I haven't been dissapointed yet.![]()
I haven't read him in AGES!!!
Sounds like he's the same as he was a good 10 years ago LOL
good but predictable!
No words, My tears won't make any room for more,
And it don't hurt, like anything I've ever felt before, this is
No broken heart,
No familiar scars,
This territory goes uncharted...
I like them, but I can read just about any author and enjoy the story,.![]()
I think I have read all his books! I love Dean Koontz! Strangers is probably my favorite, too. That and Watchers.
Ooooh, I forgot about Watchers. That was the first book of his I read that got me hooked!
