Question 9 To 5 The Musical

Has anyone on the boards gone to see the previews in LA? Any reviews??!

It is said to be one of, if not the best new musical of the season... It sounds and looks amazing from what i've seen!

    Your opinions?

Here is an audio of the most amazing song in the show, sung by Stephanie J. Block (Elphaba, Pirate Queen)

Re: 9 To 5 The Musical

A friend and I went and saw it last Friday night and it was fantastic! It got off to a slow start but ended up being really good. The sets were awesome and the music (written by Dolly) was great. Alison Janney was an ok singer but the other two were fantastic! When she sang that song I got chills!

I want to see it again. We got there at 6:30 and got last minute Hot Tix. We had second row balcony for 20 dollars!

PS-We took the Metro also which was great!

I got to see it last night with my friend and it was amazing! the songs were great and catchy, made you want to dance. and loved the dancing sequences between the scene changes. The sets were very well done, Megan Hilty was sensational, stephanie j. block was breathtaking!!! and Allison was funny as heck!

I smell a Tony! I wish it could have stayed here longer, although I guess I'm lucky to have seen it twice.
