Gregg, I'm going to my NIN/JA show by myself. Actually, I go to most concerts by myself. For Depeche, some of my friends are going, but we all have seats in different sections. But we're going to meet before or after the show for drinks and whatnot. Only show I'm not going to alone is U2 (the BF is coming with me to that one).
So jealous of you kids going to Jane's Addiction. Hopefully I'll get to see them over here some time but I'm not sure. I don't want to have to pay for both bands when I really just want to see JA... although I have seen them before.
Last Gig: David Byrne at Royal Festival Hall, London, Next Gig: Graham Coxon at The Lexington, London
mister_peterman, I've heard the guys in Jane's are already fighting again, so if I were you, I'd go see them now because they might self-implode again soon.
As for NIN, they put on a hell of a show. I was there mainly to see them. Jane's was just a bonus. I knew I had to go because this could be NIN's farewell tour. Trent has said NIN is "going to disappear for awhile" after this.
Last concert: Janet Jackson - Rock Witchu Tour (Oakland and Los Angeles) -- AMAZING!!! Being the hardcore Janet fan I am, I'm biased...but after seeing a lot of pop/r&b divas in concert over the years, and growing up in a family with pro musicians who do this for a living...I thoroughly believe she is the absolute best when it comes to song&dance shows/theatrical concerts. 2 and half hours, nearly 40 songs, hardcore song and dance through the whole thing. Madonna might have the commercial success right now, along with Britney lipping her entire show...but Janet proved she is the real ICON.
Anyway......as for the next concert: who knows. Would love to see Lady Gaga, Madonna (but not Sticky and Sweet), and definitely Michael if he makes it over to the U.S. Hopefully Prince & Earth Wind and Fire too.
