I've been a big fan of Lily Allen since Alright Still came out, and I was really looking forward to this week's release of her new CD, It's Not You, It's Me.
I don't think it's as good of an album as Alright Still, but I did find it to be an enjoyable listen and a nice, poppy new addition to my collection. I like that her sound remains fun to listen to, but some of the themes in them (homophobia, drug culture, religious warfare, God) were a little deeper. It made for an intriguing combination, and I can definitely recommend this if you're a fan.
