Billy Elliot will win for Best Musical. Sort of surprised 9 to 5 didn't get a best musical nod.

Best costuming will easily go to Shrek, and I wouldn't be surprised if it won for best original score.

If Hair wins best revival I will punch someone in the face. Guys and Dolls is my favorite out of that group, but WSS is probably the most deserving.

Just a few of my thoughts.

    and look at microscopic germs,
    but technicolor pachyderms
are really too much for me."

Costumes maybe, but I was very disappointed in the score of Shrek.

Can't speak for personal opinion having not seen the current production, but if the reviews and opinions I've seen posted on most theater sites are anything to go by I would think WSS is the least likely to win anything and is lucky to even be nominated. It has definitely not been well received from what I've seen.

I saw it and agree with this, that it is lucky to get a nod anywhere. I am also almost positive, based on revies of Hair, that it will win.
