Re: anyone know some good books for a tween??

Tassie - Cait has read a lot this year while "avoiding" the Twilight books. She's reading Harry Potter again right now at the recommendation of a friend who said it reads differently the 2nd time when you actually know stuff.

Some of the series she's read and still waits for the "next book" to come out:
    Sisters Grimm
    Percy Jackson & the Olympians
    Fablehaven

Those are what I can think of now. I'll ask her for any others and get back to you.
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!

"Do you remember in kindergarten, how you’d meet a kid,
then 10 seconds later you’d be playing like you were best friends?"

I'm right now reading Sarah Dessen. She's interesting. I mean there's a simple plot but there are some that may not be appropriate for a tween...
