My three geek buddies and I are going to the Nokia on the 8th!
We really wanted to go to this, but the prices are just too high for us right now. I love the "convenience fee" of $9.80 per ticket.
If anybody sees discount tickets, please let me know.

Saw the concert last night. It was awesome! The orchestra was terrific!
The video shorts played behind them were very similar if not entirely the same to the ones on the bonus DVD included with the Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Jedi soundtrack. I thought they'd be distracting, but watching the video montages with the live orchestra playing underneath (literally and figuratively) works perfectly as an evening entertainment piece. And the orchestra played the music we're all familiar with really, really well. They really disappeared in a sense as we were watching the video screen, their well-played music supporting the visuals like they're meant to. Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) introduces each piece with the candor of a telling the audience a bedtime story, the story generally favoring pieces from the prequel soundtracks first, leading to pieces from the original trilogy after the intermission.
The crowd was an interesting mix in LA of Jedi Knights and Leias, families, and frankly, really hot LA chicks!No stormtroopers that I saw and only a handful of lightsabers in the orchestra section where we sat. I have to admit, with service fees, $97 is a lot of money to go, but my friends and I had a blast.
As for the archive pieces on display, they were located throughout the lobby areas in all levels…props, models and costumes that I was able to see. But it was too crowded to really enjoy them for my tastes. We were told we could continue roaming through the lobbies an hour after the end of the show, but for a school night, I had to get going.
I'm going to check it out tomorrow with my nephews over in Sacramento.
