Avenue Q (Ahmanson)
Edward Scissorhands (Ahmanson)
Miss Saigon (OC)
Jersey Boys (Ahmanson)

Edward Scissorhands was weird in the fact that they had no dialogue or singing, just dancing. It was entertaining nonetheless and the sets were spectacular; it looked like Tim Burton designed the sets himself.
It's funny that you mention the broadway plays put on by high schools because my high school did Little Shop of Horrors and FAME. I was Doris Schwartz in FAME :)
Re: What plays have you seen?
One of the advantages of living in London is that I have access to probably the greatest theatre in the world (although Broadway still tops us for musicals). A great recent bonus is the number of big name stars who have come to London and stared in west end shows; – we even have Kevin Spacey as the artistic director of the Old Vic theatre. We also have some very historic theatres (the Theatre Royal is the oldest continually used theatre in the world) and some unique venues such as Shakespeare’s Globe (built by the American actor Sam Wannamaker), the National Theatre (built by Lawrence Olivier) and the open air theatre which is just magical.
A new thing in London is also theatre tours – I can really recommend the tour at the National which goes behind the scenes and shows how everything works (in New York they do great ones at the Lincoln Centre and Madison Square Garden).
Anyway amongst other things I’ve seen over the past couple of years:
Musicals: Hello Dolly, La Carge Aux Folles, Hairspray, Evita, Porgy and Bess, The Producers (my all time favourite show), Anything Goes, A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum, The Sound of Music, The Woman in White, Spamalot, Mary Poppins, Fiddler on the Roof, Modern Millie, Guys and Dolls, 42nd Street and Phantom.
Plays: Hat Fever, Blythe Spirit, Oedipus, Phedre, The Power of Yes, Inherit the Wind, Hamlet, All’s Well That Ends Well, Taming of the Shrew, Royal Hunt of the Sun, Major Barbara, Much Ado About Nothing, Orange County, The Importance of Being Ernest, Macbeth, The Woman in Black, Never So Good, Once in a Lifetime, Twelfth Night & Ivanov
