    Re: Hunger Games trilogy :)

Yeah, that was awful, wasn't it? Lots of OMG! moments in this one. And even though they set up the details behind that particular trap earlier in the book, it still knocked me upside the head! And I was just thinking about how proud I was for that character and how much she had grown up, and whammo!

And yes, we are total dorks. The only thing that saved us was that we weren't in costume. (Harry Potter midnight release/movies, that's another story. )

I didn't even see/connect the details until the author pointed it out... I thought Kat put a stop to that line of thinking...

Hi All...I just finished the Hunger Games and can't wait to run down to the store to get the other two. What a treat this series is. I read this first book in two sittings, just couldn't put it down.

Seems there will be a movie..maybe starting filming in 2011. Here is a site I found on it

Incredibly excellent books. Sick and twisted story, but told in a very realistic and believable way. Some of my new favorites. Depth to the characters, though several times I wanted to slap Katniss upside the head for not catching on till way to late. President Snow may just be my new favorite bad guy. Seriously...
    Spoiler
who builds a city with booby-traps like that!? Messed in the head!

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter
