Evil Dead the Musical in Phoenix. Really enjoyed it, very funny and the music wasn't bad. I love seeing productions in small theaters.

Since they perform their own music I guess we could include Cirque du Soleil shows in this thread.
The last one I saw was Cirque du Soleil's Saltimbanco a few years ago. Good show. In a couple weeks Cirque is bringing Alegrķa to town and I just got tickets to see that.
The last actual musical I saw was ages ago, at least 15 years ago now; Phantom of the Opera in Vancouver. Before that I saw Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat when Donny Osmond was in the lead role. I think I was in grade 8 or 9 when I saw Dreamcoat (also in Vancouver), it was band trip. Vancouver used to get all the major musicals but the company that put them on, Livent, went bankrupt and got into some legal trouble. Since that happened there haven't been any of the big poductions coming to Vancouver.
All Shook Up - Staged by a local theatre group encouraging youth to participate in theatre, I went to see this last night to support some friends in the show whom I worked with recently in another show. A big Elvis fan, this musical never really caught my attention when it opened a few years ago, so seeing their show was a bonus getting to finally enjoy this show too. They did a great job, and I enjoyed the show for the most part! I went to iTunes and Amazon to sample the Broadway soundtrack and was surprised to find that on some songs, the kids sounded better than the cast album version. Aw, well, I can just pull out my Elvis CDs and create a new compilation, thankyouverymuch.
Saw Peter Pan in Boulder while visiting NNL's parents. First dinner theater experience...

I saw Young Frankenstein the Musical in mid-July. It was pretty darn good. I've loved the movie for years now and I was so happy to hear some of the iconic dialogue turned into songs. The singing was great and the acting was great too. I really enjoyed myself.
Saw Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson this past weekend. Such a unique experience. I still am not quite sure I understood it. Next weekend is the Radio City Christmas Show (my Christmas present to my parents)

After reading on this thread about someone seeing Evil Dead the Musical, I actually looked into it and got to see it in St. Louis this past October (for Halloween actually). It was really funny!
I just recently saw a musical called Plaid Tidings. It wasn't that great.....oh well.
I am going to NYC this summer and will be seeing something on Broadway for sure. I am just not sure what yet.![]()

Saw How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying with Daniel Radcliffe this weekend. Love this show before, and I love it even more now. Daniel Radcliffe did a great job! His singing was pretty good, but his dancing was surprisingly fantastic. He really reminded me at times of Robert Morse, the original Finch.
Loved the style of the show, the sets, everything!

I recently saw the world premiere of Little Miss Sunshine. It was pre-broadway and totally excellent!![]()
I've seen:
The Phantom of the Opera
Les Miserables
Peter Pan (with Cathy Rigby)
Wicked
Spring Awakening (I saw this twice, first time from the audience second time onstage!)
Legally Blonde
Rent
Mary Poppins
Sweeney Todd (the revival where it's set in an asylum, not very good)
The Wizard of Oz
A Chorus Line
I think that's it...![]()

Oh, if you include Cirque shows, I saw La Nouba in Disney a few years back!
Just saw "Fiddler on the Roof" last night. Touring company, local theater. Awesome show. Next scheduled show: "The Producers". Can't wait!
