Hot Madonna & child. Photos taken during the after-party from the Oscars at the Vanity Fair party.

Madonna turned a lot heads and as she should. Working out almost 5 hours a day and at age 52 (grant a little nick here & there) but WOW!

While at the party she's officially announced that she is indeed been back in the record studio making new material with new & upcoming producers and hopes to top Confessions on the Floor.

    Re: Happy Birthday MADONNA

Before there's Gaga, there's was Madonna (hear the news, they are related)

May 23 marks the 20th anniversary of the landmark documentary film of Madonna's, Truth or Dare. Filmed during her 1990 Blond Ambition World Tour. Well-received by critics and the public, it eventually became a box office success and becoming, at that point, the highest-grossing documentary of all time with by grossing over $29 million world-wide. It remains the eighth highest-grossing documentary of all time. It was screened at the 1991 Cannes Film Festival.

It was heaven for Madonna fans and for those who didn't love her, it gave an insight that most of us never really knew, and already knew. For those who never saw her in concert, it was great opportunity to see her at what she does best. Performing from her Blond Ambition World Tour, which many considered her best concert...

Madonna was almost arrested in Toronto...

...probably the most touching, and very personal moment which also reminded us she's just like the rest of us. Was the moment Madonna visited her Mother's grave...

The film revealed that behind the scenes, Madonna acts like a Mother figure to all her young dancers, and she still had her inner demons haunting her...

Documentary films like this are always fun for a die-hard fans and an insight just how she is a strong woman who knows what she wants, and is no dumb-blonde (she's really a brunet). She also has a great sense of humor, and who knew Al Pacino was a big Madonna fan? Durrning this time, Dick Tracy was in pre-production, and Madonna was dating that ugly fart Warren Betty. It's kinda funny how we see Madonna having a crush on Antonio Banderas (at the time married), and flirted with each other. Plus, who describes a concert "neat," expect Kevin Costnar? "Neat? Anybody who says my concert is neat needs to go!" -Madonna

During this era, was one of my favs of Madonna, especially the photography campaign.

With the 20th Anniversary, a lot film festivals and Madonna fans are having a Truth or dare night, for example...

Cinefest Film Theatre will be celebrating the 20th anniversary release of 'Madonna: Truth Or Dare' with an exclusive one-week only screening of this landmark documentary. Cinefest is Georgia State University's student-run art-house movie theater. Cinefest Film Theatre
    66 Courtland St. SE
    Suite 240
    Atlanta, GA 30303
    404-413-1798

    Flashback to 1990...

Madonna will be a guest on the popular "Inside The Actors Studio" with James Lipton airing on Bravo Channel. The chat is part of the promotion for Madonna's new movie as a director, "W.E."

    Omg

Bluewater Comics is coming out with a new one—Female Force: Madonna (August 2011). From the description:
Female Force: Madonna will be released in August 2011 and have a cover price of $3.99. The bio on the pop icon's life will be written by CW Cooke and drawn by Michael Johnson.

"Madonna is arguably the most influential figure in the history of American music. This comic book will focus on her humble beginnings and the incredible events that led to her eventually becoming one of the few people in the world recognized by only their first name! Though she has paved the way for many female pop stars that came after her, from Britney Spears to Lady Gaga to Beyonce she is unique in that while many are compared to her, she is never compared to anyone else. There is still only one Madonna and even today, in her fifties, she remains culturally relevant. This comic book shows the influences on her music and style that in turn have influenced every pop star who aspires to not only make songs that people will always remember, but have an impact on society.

"The Female Force comic series offers a broad examination of strong and influential women who are shaping modern history and culture. In past issues, the monthly series has featured, Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, JK Rowling, Ellen Degeneres, Sarah Palin and others.

"Bluewater's Vice President Jason Schultz said, 'Our goal is to show the little-known events and influences that resulted in Madonna becoming the phenomenon she remains to this day, more than a quarter-century after she burst upon the scene. A visual medium provides perspective that is not only accessible but more relatable to the average person without losing any of the information involved.'

"This 32-page comic book will be chronicling this saga, Female Force: Madonna will explore all sides of this inimitable talent, from her live performances, ever-changing musical tastes, to her being a leader in fashion and her charity work, Madonna has made positive contributions to her fans' lives and society at large and how, despite numerous controversies she remains beloved by more fans than ever. Through it all, she always remained true to herself and appeared to be genuine. What you see is what you get with her. That - and her remarkable talent is what has made her an enduring legend. Madonna is quite simply one of the most powerful women in the history of entertainment.

"'Most pop stars owe everything to this woman. It's amazing all of the things that she's done in her lifetime, and I have a feeling that this is still only the beginning,' says Cooke, who said he had fun scripting the Material Girl's life story."

    Re: Happy Birthday MADONNA

It's time to CELEBRATE Madonna fans, why? Madonna is FINALLY back in music studio. (Source:Madonna recording a new album - Celebrity Circuit - CBS News)

After hearing Gaga's latest effort (old news already), Madonna said...
Not since Bedtime Stories (1994) has Madonna been guilty have not producing a record album between a four year gap, in fact, this has been her longest. Her Last album was Hard Candy (2008), and her new album is said to be released late 2011 or Jan 2012.

With news she's back in the studio after making a film, it's time to...

those who think she's OLD for the music industry (music is ageless btw)? It's helps being Italian, and a little rich. Look at Madonna leaving the studio the other night...

Just a few months ago in NYC...

So, who is Madonna wanting her to join her venture on her new album? How about Meatloaf to DJ A-Trak, David Guetta and with MARTIN SOLVEIG!!!

Remember this SOLVEIG hit doing your after hours fun?

Martin Solveig is well known on the dance scene, but despite this fact, Martin’s sound has a fresh and funky vibe which more than suits Madonna’s style. I reckon this collaboration is bound to produce some awesome chart friendly music as well as pure dancefloor stompers which sound nothing like the tacky Pitbull sound that is doing the rounds at the moment!

    SOLVEIG's latest hit is this...

Madonna's new album will be the one to watch out for!

Rolling Stone reconfirm Madonna as Queen of Pop!

As if we needed telling! Madonna has been named as the Queen of Pop in a new poll run by Rolling Stone magazine. To read the full story visit rollingstone.com

Last week we did some serious number crunching and created the Rolling Stone Queen Of Pop Index – a ranking of the current top 16 female pop recording artists. To be as up-to-date as possible, we only examined data from the last two years – which excluded all artists that hadn't work in that time period. Needless to say, this pissed off some fan communities. Madonna fans were particularly enraged, even though her last album was released in early 2008 and she's been off the road since the summer of 2009.

With all the fan feedback, we decided to poll our readers so they could name their own queen of pop. Here are the results:

    1. Madonna
To say that Madonna won this poll in a landslide would be like saying that she was a kind of popular pop singer in the 1980s. It wouldn't even begin to explain the scope of the situation. She received five times as many votes as Lady Gaga, who landed in second place by a very comfortable margin. The only persistent criticism that Gaga has dealt with in recent years is that she's too much like Madonna. It's a hard shadow to escape. Madonna is a musical icon without peer. Her run of hits over the past 30 years is simply astounding, and when she hits the road, tickets sell like it's a Led Zeppelin reunion tour.

Sure, her last few albums didn't match up to the classics. Nobody cares. She's Madonna. Lady Gaga has accomplished more in recent years than any artist of her era, but she's still got a long climb until she reaches Madonna level. It's very likely that no other artist will ever reach it though. Her manager Guy Oseary recently tweeted that she's started recording her 12th studio album, so clearly she has no intention of slowing down anytime soon.
