Remembering Your Favorite Childhood/Teen Books

I was going through my old stuff and found my stash of books from my childhood. It was fun looking through all of them. I found some Ramona books by Beverly Clearly, Baby-Sitters Club books, Fear Street books, "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing" (possibly the best book ever), and some old "Disney Adventures" issues. I might even re-read some of them now that I'm in my 30's just for kicks.

What books did you read in your younger years? What were your favorites? Which ones make you think "why did I ever like that book?"

I was a big fan of the books by Beverly Cleary and Judy Bloom. Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, Superfudge, and of course, "Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret".

I also loved the Paddington Bear books by Michael Bond.

I pretty much read anything I could get my hands on. I'm pushing 40 now and part of me wants to track those books down again and reread them to see how they hold up b
